Roxy Raceway Mayhem

You were face to, well chest with the animatronic man as he caught you in the hall. Monty was a big guy, he was not nearly as tall as Freddy but his build was much bigger. You took this moment of being so close to him to take in his full appearance. His hair that was once disheveled and lay flat this morning was styled up in almost a mohawk style, and his skin had randomly placed alligator scales. He was now dressed in his show costume that consisted of green pants and a green waistcoat jacket with purple shoulder caps. It seemed the costume department decided to leave it at that as he was not wearing a shirt underneath. They decided to accessorize him with a studded collar, black hoop earrings and purple star sunglasses.
Monty must of seen you take in his appearance because he began to smirk and leaned his face in closer.
"Well, well, well, doll you like what you see?" He asked haughtily.
"I- uh I was just..." You stammered
Letting out a low bellow Monty let his tail swish behind him. He slowly started walking, forcing you to take a step back, he continued this until your back hit the wall.
Shrinking back you looked around as you tried to look for a way out, but all plans were foiled when Monty placed his hands on the wall to either side of you.
"Look at ya, afraid of the big bad gator." Monty growled out "You won't make it more than a week"
At this your more defiant side kicked in and you made it a point to stand-up straighter looking Monty straight in his red eyes.
"And why is that?" you asked
"Come on darlin' look at ya" He said tilting his head, you could see his eyes scan from your face down your body "A WOMAN like you, the way you look? You're better off working in management"
The look of offense couldn't be hidden from your face as he said this.
"Well, Montgomery," you said sarcastically "I'm not getting my degree in management now am I?"
Remembering some of the animatronic blueprints that Hector showed you during the day you decided to snake a hand up from Monty's chest to rest just on the back of his neck.
This sudden bold move had Monty side eyeing your arm and engage his internal fans to cool his processer.
Using your grip on his neck you brough yourself in close to his face that now took on the look of caution. You brought your lips close to his own and let out a light chuckle.
"I'm getting my degree in engineering, dumb gator" You whispered.
And with that you pressed the manual reset button under Monty's Collar causing him to momentarily shut down.
You took this opportunity to slip away from the wall as Monty's slouched figure stood there facing where you once stood. Not wanting to stick around to see the animatronics rage you sprinted to the exit and into your car. Letting out a heavy sigh you let your head rest on your steering wheel as you took in the day you had. You never would have thought you would have to put the moves on an animatronic in order to leave your job.
The next day you made it to work about 5 minutes early to make sure you had time to go over the list of things to be done for the day. Hector decided he didn't have the time to train you himself that day so he paired you with another one of the Parts and Service crew named Dante. Dante was a sweet guy about 25 years old who had this job to support his wife and daughter. You two talked between assignments until you received a call from Hector explaining that you were both needed at Roxy Raceway to help fix Roxy's Go Cart.
When the two of you arrived you pushed past the crowd of upset parents and children that were exiting the attraction to enter in through the now abandoned track. Dante seemed to know where he was going as he followed the sound of things being destroyed in the back maintenance bay.
When he scanned his pass the door opened to reveal Roxanne trashing the bay and yelling to herself.
"It's not my fault! He cheated!" she yelled as she picked up a cart and threw it across the room and crashed it into the wall.
Dante noticed Roxy pick up a tire and swing it in the direction you two were standing so he pulled you down to crouch with him, lest you be decapitated by a flying tire. Sighing Dante stood up and crossed his arms.
"Roxanne, why were we called down here?" He asked gaining her attention.
The animatronic let out a low growl, barring her teeth as she stalked towards the two of you.
"I need my Cart fixed, some twerp beat me at my race. ITS TOO SLOW!" she yelled in Dantes face.
He looked undeterred as the animatronic got very close into his personal bubble.
"Ok, Roxanne we'll fix it." Dante said as he began leading you to her customized Go Cart.
"Not Her!" She barked out "I don't need an amateur touching my ride"
With that Roxy Flipped her hair and left.
"Jeez seems like most of these animatronics doubt my abilities" You said as you watched Dante begin to lift the ride.
"What do you mean?" Dante asked looking over to you.
"Oh, well Monty caught me on my way out yesterday, and he said I should be in management rather than Parts and Services" You explained as your face turned red recounting the situation.
"Hmmm, tell you what" Dante Said "Ill let you fix Roxy's Go Cart. That way when it is fixed she will only have you to thank"
"Is she really the type to thank anyone?" You asked as you started taking over.
"Not really" Dante said with a laugh as he handed you a wrench "But they all mean well in their own way.
You spent the next hour and a half working on Roxy's Go Cart, you even added a turbo function that allowed her to speed past her competition and guarantee a win.
Dante messaged Roxy when the assignment was completed and you both waited until she arrived.
"Well?" She asked as she entered the room.
"Well, I let (Y/N) take over on this one and only helped her when she needed it. Look at these sick mods she included" Dante said as he walked the animatronic to her Cart.
"I-uh, added a turbo boost for some added kick in your race" You explained as you pointed the new features out.
Leaning in close Roxy took in the new and improved Cart. Giving a hum of approval she stood to turn and look at you. She was the third tallest of the Glamrocks at 5'11, meaning she towered over you.
"Not bad rookie" Roxy said with a smirk.
She leaned down and got into your face to finish her statement her yellow eyes boring into your own,
"Still doesn't mean I like you"
With that she turned and left without another word.
Releasing the breath you didn't know you were holding you placed a hand on your chest, trying to still your racing heart. Dante clapped a hand on your shoulder and started leading you away from the now cleaned up maintenance room.
"Tell you what kid, why don't we sneak away, get some snacks and watch the final performance of the day." He said already walking you in the direction of the food court.
"Yeah that sounds nice" You replied
"It will be a good thing to see the show to see what the animatronics go through during their shows, it will also force you to be here during their final check of the night before we leave for the night" Dante explained. "I'll be working the maintenance night shift, but don't you worry you'll have your chance to do a night shift once your day training is up."
"You work all day and then all night?" You questioned.
"Yeah, like Hector told you staffing is light around here, but now with an additional worker we will be able to successfully rotate and have our appropriate day off." He said as he collected his food from El Chip.
You collected your own order and followed him to the upper-level viewing area where a few tables lay overlooking the main stage. Parents and children were all filing Infront of the mainstage with the hope to get as close to the animatronics as possible. It was a miracle you and Dante even found a seat that overlooked the mainstage from your level, albeit a side view of the main stage.
The lights began to dim as the show began. Over the loudspeakers you heard the prerecorded announcer call out.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Fazbear Entertainment would like you to put your hands together for the one the only Freddy Fazbear!"
With that the screen above the mainstage started playing a pre recorded clip of the animatronics animal animatronic counterparts making their way through a neon lit hallway to the stage lift that waited below. As the animal animatronics were brought up the stage lift there was a flash of lightning and they changed from animals to humans. The screen showcased each of the Glamrocks and their individual instruments with their names.
It wasn't long before the actual Glamrock animatronics surfaced on the mainstage and began playing their opening number that sounded like a techno 80's song. You had completely abandoned the food you had ordered and turned your full attention to the show. You were just as entranced by the show as all of children and parents that were screaming their praises to the band below.
You were vaguely aware of Dante chuckling at your reaction beside you. By the final song you found yourself leaning over the railing screaming your own encouragements to the band. You could have sworn you saw Monty look up at you and flashed you a cocky smile. But you wrote that off to him giving a smile at the general upper-level audience.
With the show over the stage began to lower the Glamrocks into the Parts and Service Bay that lay beneath the stage.
"That's our que" Dante said standing with his trash in hand.
Picking up your partially eaten meal you followed Dante to Parts and Services. Where the Glamrocks were awaiting their final check of the night.
"Ugh what took so long!" Roxy complained as you two entered the room.
"Sorry Roxy, I was letting (Y/N) see the show so she could see what you all were capable of." Dante said.
"This was one of my worst performances! Are you kidding me Dante?!?!" She yelled as she stopped in front of him.
"R-Roxy? I thought you did amazing tonight. You look fantastic and your performance was killer" You said as you budged between the two.
This praise took her by surprise as she seemingly malfunctioned for a second before turning her back to the two of you.
"Of course I was" She replied as she went to stand in her maintenance spot.
"Ok, (Y/N) since you watched me work on Freddy yesterday you can work on his check as I work on Chica's right beside you" Hector said as he guided you to the animatronic.
"Hello again Superstar! It was so good seeing you at todays performance" Freddy said with a smile.
"Thanks Freddy, it was so much fun to watch! Let's get you all checked up so you can get some rest for the night." You said as you began going over general maintenance.
You heard a huff beside you and looked over to see Monty looking tense as his worker checked his tail that was thumping harshly on the ground.
"Monty! Keep still!" you heard his worker reprimand.
"How are you enjoying your time here?" Freddy asked as he redirected your attention to himself.
"Loving it! Lots to do, it keeps me on my toes" You replied with a smile.
"If you like being kept on your toes then you should try Mazersize." Chica said with a wink.
A collective groan was heard through the other three Glamrocks.
"What?!" Chica squawked out as she turned defensively to her bandmates.
Hector gently guided her back to her idol possession as he wrapped up his inspection.
"No offense Chica, but Mazersize just isn't all that fun" Roxy replied as her inspection finished.
"I think we can all agree on that one" Monty replied nodding his head.
"Like Monty Golf is so much better" Chica said crossing her arms.
"Who wants to exercise at an arcade!" Monty said as he began aggressively crossing the room to get to Chica.
Noticing Monty's path, Freddy suddenly pulled you into his chest to keep you from getting plowed by the animatronic. Placing your hands on his chest you noticed he was warm just like Chica was. Looking up you noticed Freddy giving you an apologetic smile.
"You did well on my inspection Superstar, way to go!" Freddy said as he continued holding you.
"T-Thank you Freddy, now can you let me go?" You said as your face began to redden.
Noticing he was still holding you he promptly let you go. You didn't miss the glare that came from Monty as you were set down.
"Freddy is right (Y/N), great job! You are a fast learner!" Hector replied as he filled out the daily intake form. "All right everyone great job today! I will see you all tomorrow"
With that everyone went off into their own respective directions, calling it a day.
You weren't too far past Rockstar Row before you were pulled into a dressing room, more specifically Monty's.
