Zane wasn't feeling so good, the rocking of the boat making him nauseous. He's never been on a boat, the closest thing to a boat he's been in was a large storage container in a large puddle on a rainy day where his grandma's street flooded when he was 11.

An island came into view interrupting his moment of joyful childhood memories. His blue eyes gazed onto a dock filled with other teens. Each is different and unique at first glance. Zane's anxiety kicked in hard, he was the last to be announced, he didn't know anyone else or their names and his memory was shit. "Well I hope they won't be pissed when I call them the wrong names, I don't feel like leaving with a concussion," he whispered.

The white boat pulled up to the dock dropping the short young male off. "And for our twenty-third contestant, Zane, our lovable people hater. How's it going, dude?" Chris asked him.

"I feel like hurling," Zane said swaying slightly, adjusting to the stable un rocking ground. The boat ride really took a toll on him, he's nauseous and dizzy. He stumbled a bit before his legs gave out and he fell on his ass. "Dang dude, you good?" Chris laughed pulling the shorter male up by his arm. Laughing could be heard from the group on the other end of the dock. "I. Hate. Boats." Zane said regaining his balance. "Good to hear, alright everyone at the end of the dock, we need group photos for the promos," Chris hollered hoping on the boat Zane was just on holding a camera. Soon the other contestants surrounded the short male, and he was uncomfortable with it. He worked his way through the bodies and made his way further on the dock, towards where the others came from. He stood near, but far enough for his comfort from the rest of the cast.

"What's the matter dork, scared of people?" a guy with a mohawk taunted Zane smirking. He turned his head to look up at the delinquent who was on a larger males back. "Yes," was all Zane said before looking back at Chris.

The delinquent was shocked, "Is this guy serious?" he thought to himself before also looking at Chris for the photo.

As Chris was finally ready to take the photo, and as everyone was yelling, Zane felt the dock shift. He's watched one too many fail videos to know this wasn't ending well. He quickly ran further onto the dock away from everyone as they fell in. Glaring at Chris for almost going against his contract with the show he stomped off onto the beach with the rest of the teens who were soaked in water.

He felt eyes on him. "How are you dry?!" a tall asian girl yelled at him. Zane ignored her and listened to Chris. "Ok guys, dry off and meet at the campfire pit in 10," Chris said in a cheerful tone.

As Zane was making his way to the fire pit a certain juvenile watched him walk away thinking to himself about the strange guy. "Dude doesn't talk that much and when he does it ain't friendly, I guess McLean was right. That kid hates people," Duncan thought as he soon followed Zane to the firepit.

~10 minutes later~

Chris stands opposite of the teens who are all sitting on stumps or standing around their fellow campers. "This is Camp Wawanakwa, your home for the next eight weeks. The campers sitting around you will be your cabin mates, your competition and maybe even your friends you dig," Chris says as the green-haired punk threatens to punch the ginger in glasses, "The camper who manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest without getting voted off will win $100,000!" Chris finished calmly. "$100,000 must be pocket change to him," Zane thought to himself.

Duncan then points to Heather with a smirk and says, "Excuse me? What will the sleeping arrangements be? Because I'd like to request a bunk under her." Zane cringed at the words, and so did Heather as she asked, "They're not co-ed, are they?" with a concerned look on her face. "Noooo. Girls get one side of each cabin and dudes get the other." Chris said tilting his head left to right to further his point.
