Here we are, the finale of Total Drama Island. Who will win? Goth girl Gwen who's a softy with a bite, or Owen, a big guy with an appetite.
Two sides cheered as the two ran the course Chris set up while Zane sat on the ground in the middle, not picking a side and cheering on both. "I can't believe you won't pick a side," Duncan laughed.
"I'm an indecisive person. I mean it's obvious. I can't decide on what gender I'm attracted to most. I can't decide on top or bottom," Zane shrugged with a smug smirk and winked at his boyfriend. "Shut up."
Zane couldn't help but laugh at Duncan's flushed face at the comment. They've come a long way in such a short time. From "slightly" aggressive banter in episode one to now, loving partners, trusting and loving each other more than they have anyone before.
As Izzy ran to the main lodge and Lindasay ran off to Chris's trailer Duncan joined Zane on the ground and wrapped his arm over his shoulders. "Who do you think will actually win?" he asked the shorter boy.
"If Izzy's plan works, Owen, 100% Owen."
And it did work, Izzy held a plate of brownies in front of the fan Lindsay held, blowing the smell towards the boy who loves to eat. He ran as fast as he could past the finish line and tackled Izzy and ate the reward of brownies in the end.
"It should've been me winning!" Courtney huffed.
"Shut the fuck up, you fucked around with a taken guy and found out. Suck it up," Zane scoffed with an eye roll. "Yeah, we voted you off, all Harold's tampering did was add like two more votes against you or something," Duncan laughed at her misery.
"I didn't know! I did nothing wrong!" she huffed.
"I'm sorry? You did nothing wrong? Did he say you could kiss him?" "I did not." "See? No consent is something wrong, therefore, YOU, are wrong." "Also everyone knew Zane and I were a thing."
She stormed off with a huff.
"Oh, how I wish she won't be around next season," Duncan muttered quietly. Zane hummed in agreement.
(One more chapter left guys, then we're on to book #2.)
