We were all waiting for the big wagon to get out of the way. A garrison solider was arguing with the man who owned it to move it but the merchant silenced him by saying something. After that I heard huge footsteps and looked behind me and then told my mom. "Hey mom look" I said pointing to the titan that was coming towards us ignoring the soldiers behind it.

Mikasa's pov 

"We're not gonna make it in time to stop the titan!!" One of the elites said but I just sped up faster than everyone and sliced it's nape making it fall and made it stop directly in front of the civilians. "What's going on here?" I said to the civilians trying to evacuate but there was a big wagon blocking the way. "Ah great your here come and tell these civilians to help move the cart if they want to live" Said a merchant 

"What are you doing my comrades are dying out there trying to get the civilians evacuated?" I said to him "Well of course that's your job, don't tell me you all are over confident because your finally of use in 5 years." He said back. "Move the cart" I said "As if!! Boys get her!" He said to his henchmen 2 of them ran towards me but I just used the back of my sword to knock them out. 

I then moved towards the merchant. "Move the wagon" I said "Try to threaten me huh? Me and your boss go way back one word from me and you'll be court marshaled. I then raised my blade towards him. "How can a dead body speak?" He widened his eyes and looked at the blade scared until one of his henchmen called him. "B-Boss?" he said "M-Move the damn wagon.." 

They moved the wagon and then a little girl looked at me with awe "Thank you lady!" She said until I saluted and then one of the elites landed next to me. "That was great work Ackerman" "I sliced it to fast now my blades are dull" I said emotionless "What kind of life have you been living..." All of sudden we heard the retreat bells meaning the evacuations was finished 

"All right thats the single lets head up the wall Ackerman" "Sir you go ahead I will help the vanguard retreat" I said while zipping off "Hey wa-!" He was cut off as I couldn't hear him anymore. I have at least 2 things in this world and I have to protect them with all my life.

Mikasa's pov

When I was zipping I saw a group of cadets all on one roof together so I assumed thats where everyone is so I landed near Annie, Reiner, Bertholdt, and Marco. I went up to Annie to ask her something. "Hey Annie I need to ask you something and I'm sorry for bringing my personal feelings into this but, have you seen Y/n's and Eren's squad?"

 She responded "No, but Armin is over there" She said pointing at him "Thank you" I said going towards Armin. "Armin" I said to him but his eyes only widened and he gritted his teeth. "Armin where's Y/n and Eren?" I asked he slowly lifted his head and I looked at his eyes and then I realized.

"N-no-" I said before Armin cut me off. Armin starts to cry while listing of names. "Y/N,EREN, MINA, AND THOMAS OF THE 34TH SQUAD HAVE ALL DIED BREAVLY ON THE BATTLEFEILD!!!" As soon as he said that I started to lose all emotion. Armin falls to his feet and cries more. I knee towards him and talk to him. "Armin" He raises his head. "Armin now's not the time to get emotional" I said to him while bringing him to his feet I then walk over to Marco 

"Hey Marco" "Y-Yeah?" he said "If we get to the supply room we will be able to resupply and get over the wall right?" I asked "Yeah but even with you here its impossible not even y/n could have helped us..." "All right then I'm going" I said shocking the rest of the cadets. "W-What But Mikasa you can't get there you'll die!!" A cadet said "Y-Yeah if Y/n was here you both couldn't take them both!!" 

"Listen I'm strong, stronger than all of you therefore I can defeat those titans! Even on my own all of you aren't only weak, but you are spineless cowards. Just stay here and watch." I said "What are you saying like Marco said not even you and Y/n can take them!!." A cadet said. "If I can't kill them, I'll die but if I win, I'll live If I don't fight, I can't win"
