The struggle for Trost part 3

Jean pov

I was just standing there on top of one of the rooftops below me was a cadet that ran out of gas he was struggling while the titans closed in on him. Before he was eaten 1 other cadet comes out of no where and tries to help him before failing and getting eaten himself. And here I am, leading these cadets to their deaths.

How can I be the one to lead when most that I lead have died. As I was questing myself I realised that most of the titans were gathering around here meaning we could take the streets and save gas. "HEY EVERYONE!!" I yelled, they all looked at me. 

"EVERYONE TAKE THE STREETS AND SAVE GAS THE TITANS ARE ALL RIGHT HERE NO WORRIES ABOUT THEM ON THE OTHER STREETS!!" I yelled. They all nodded at me before going down from the rooftops and running down them.

"Hey Jean, that was a great idea back there thank you for your quick thinking, I think you are cut out to be a leader" Marco said "I don't think I am one.." I responded still thinking about all of the cadets that have died because of me. We continued on to the HQ.

We managed to get to HQ with a couple of cadets dying by crashing in through the windows. We all looked around I saw a couple of cadets in the corner just hiding. "Hey! Are you guys the supply team!" 

I yelled, one of them nodded so I grabbed him and punched him straight in the face. I was about to punch him again but Marco stopped me.

"WHAT THE HELL YOU GUYS WERE SUPPOSED TO SUPPLY US!!" I yelled "W-We couldn't do anything t-the titans swarmed us!" "MANY OF US DIED OUT THERE BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T DO YOUR JOB!!" I yelled back, just as I finished we heard a rumbling sound from outside. Then all of sudden the wall next to us broke. 

Everyone got up and looked at what had made the hole, it was 2 titans just smiling at us through the hole. "Damn it, there's too many people in here!" I shouted while everyone just started at them in shock and fear. "So, this is how it ends huh" I said to myself giving up and falling to my knees. 

But right as I fell to my knees I saw a fist collide with one of the titans face and then brining the force to the other. "What the.." I said then a random titan showed itself in the hole but then roared and went after the 2 titans it had hit. Everyone was stunned until something broke into the other windows. 

I then realized that it was Mikasa, Connie, and Armin. "W-What the, you guys are alive!" I said "Yeah and get this" Connie said "This titan right here, doesn't eat humans it kills titans!" He said "W-What that's impossible!" I said "Its true" Mikasa said "W-what, you know what alright" I said 

Outside we could hear the sounds of titans falling and the rumble of feet. "We could use this titan to our advantage" Armin said "We could use him to distract the others while we go into the storage!" "That's a good idea Armin but there's still the titans inside the storage" I said to him "Yeah about that.." Marco said "I found a bunch of guns, now they would be useless against titans but I was hoping Armin could find some use for them" 

"Right, I got a idea, so basically we could use these guns by handing them out amongst ourselves and the people with guns will go the lift down into the storage, but before that we need 7 people to kill the titans so I suggest that the top 7 cadets do it" Armin explained "Right now we don't have Y/n available as uh... something is preventing him.." Armin said "What? But I though he died?" I said  

"W-Well about that later" Armin said "But as of right now we need the top 7 to get on the raffs supporting the roof because from that point they should have a perfect strike at the nape" Armin said "What about the people with guns?" Marco asked "Like I was saying, the people in the lift will go down to about where the titans neck ends, then after they get there Marco will signal the rest of the cadets on the lift to fire right at the titan's eyes blinding them and stunning them for a second to give the 7 others on the raffs to jump down and slice their napes" Armin said.
