My POV

"How do you know my name?" Barry asked.

"I won't let anything hurt you," Cisco mumbled into my ear. I nodded, smiling at his comforting words, knowing I was getting worked up even with my glasses on.

"I know all your names. Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, Liz Harper, Detective Joe West..." I felt very creeped out by him, a shiver running through my spine.

"Enough. That part about explaining needs to happen right now." Joe aimed the gun at Jay as he lifted his hands.

"This world is in danger," Jay stated.

"What other worlds are there?" I asked, confused. Jay began explaining things. "I'm sorry, a breach?"

"Okay, so, Jay, how do you know all of this?" Barry asked.

"Where I came from, I was a speedster like you. They called me the Flash." I took off my glasses, shocked and surprised, as Jay began telling his story about Zoom. We heard that name before from Atom Smasher.

"Look, I know how this sounds." I shrugged my shoulders. Yeah, it sounded nuts. Barry got Jay to agree to run tests, albeit slightly threatening. The rest of us stayed in the main part of the Cortex, Stein talking about the Many-different-worlds theory.

"Babe, I'm lost. Help me out?" I looked up at Cisco as I sat in my chair.

"So, Jay is saying he's from, like, a mirror-world. Or a parallel universe. One that's very similar to ours." Cisco offered.

"Multiverse would be a more apt description," Stein said .

"Bless your heart." Cisco said, looking at Joe, who was still perplexed.

"Joe, even I understood that," I smirked, taking Cisco's hand and squeezing it in love and support.

"You alright?"

"Yeah."

"You got me, I got you." I squeezed it again as Cisco nodded.

"Come on, let's go help, Stein." Cisco offered as he stood up, holding my hand still.

"Jitters too?" I smiled as Cisco's normally cheerful demeanor came back.

"Jitters too."

"Sand?" I perked up, slowly sipping on my coffee as Jay's voice appeared behind me, making me jump as I scowled, glaring at him.

"It belongs to a meta-human I fought before named Sand Demon."

"I know you're new here but the whole 'naming the bad guy's thing, that's my jam.' But you know what? I'm gonna let you have that one 'cause I actually kind of like it." Cisco smirked.

"I'm gonna do this thing." Cisco blushed to tap on the vial after his goofy rambling. I chuckled as he quickly kissed me as he left. Sighing after hearing Barry disagree with Jay and Caitlin and Iris trying to help, I left the room, trying to find Cisco. As I entered the room, Cisco just stood there.

"Cisco?" I walked forward.

"Barry?" He asked as I took his hand.

"Cisco? Baby? It's ok." A few moments later he held his head as he looked at me worriedly.

"What's happening to me?" Cisco asked as I rubbed his back.

"I don't know honey, but it's going to be ok. You have me." I felt as Cisco pulled me in, holding me tight as he shuttered, truly afraid, and I could only help so much.

~

"I've searched all the vacant buildings in Central City, and none of them fit the description we need," Caitlin said.

"We gotta do whatever it takes." Cisco frowned for a minute before standing up fast. "I'll be back." Cisco rushed out of there as I stood up, following him after.

"Cisco!" I called out as I followed him into the room where the 'sand' was.

"I have to try. I need to understand what is happening to me." Cisco turned around, facing me, and I could see it in his eyes. He was afraid.

"Ok, but at least have me here with you. I'm your girlfriend. I'm gonna support you no matter what." I stood next to him, a smile on his face as I kept watch while he lifted his hand towards the sand.

"Okay, come on."

As Cisco stood still, I paced back and forth, my eyes on him flickering between the door and him. Could he be a meta human-like he said Wells proposed?

"Mrs. Harper?" I looked up, seeing Stein walking in unsure as he looked at Cisco, who was standing in front of the microscope.

"What are you doing here?" he asked as I frowned, stepping towards Cisco.

"Please...no one is supposed to know."

"I figured out where Patty is." Stein looked at me. I begged him with my eyes not to say anything as we ran towards where Barry and Jay were practicing.

"I know where they are! An abandoned Woodrue grow house." Cisco caught his breath.

"Dude, that's great!" I looked at Cisco, grabbing his hand and squeezing it tightly.

"And I was thinking if I were a sand demon and I attacked two fronts. I would probably want to slow you down. Like, by using a concussive bomb."

"Or something like that," I offered. Cisco smiled, kissing the back of my hand in thanks.

"That's a good thought. He's used one on me before." Jay nodded in agreement. I sighed in relief that no one was questioning Cisco.

"You got your suit?"

"Sure. Well, except my helmet."

"Silver kettle helmet? Gold wings?" I asked, looking surprised at Jay. Oh, so that was his helmet?

"Don't tell me you guys found it."

~

"Care to tell me what's going on with you two?" Stein asked. I sighed, sitting up as I took my glasses off.

"What? Nothing." Cisco said, and I grabbed his hand.

"Two hunches in one day. Slick's locale and that he'd be using a bomb. I don't think I have to tell you the probability-"

"Something happened to me." Cisco stopped him as I offered a smile. It was easy for me. I had been a Meta since the explosion. But Cisco? This was new. And it terrified him.

"I'm here for you. No matter what."

"I know. And that's why I love you. It just scares me."

"It's ok to be afraid."

"I suppose so. At least I have you to help me."

"I'm perceiving things, horrible things. It started after Wells killed us in the other timeline. It came back when Atom Smasher attacked. And then shows up again when Sand demon appears. I get a vibe and then a vision of something that's already happened and then it's gone." Cisco stood up, letting go of my hand as he leaned against the desk, my hand moving to rub his back.

"Cisco, this is amazing. We-we have to study this."

"No, we're not going that and you're not telling anyone either."

"Cisco, I would think you'd be the one most intrigued. Look at how you and Mrs. Harper could control her abilities, and now you two are together happily."

"I see things I don't wanna see and know things I don't wanna know. I just want it to stop." Cisco frowned as I stood up, holding him close as I looked at Stein.

"Please professor. I don't want anyone to know about this. Not yet. It took me time. It's going to take him time. Promise me it will be our secret."

"Alright. I promise."
