The Vibe's Siren

Chapter 11

My POV

"Dante?" Cisco said, having a Vibe in the middle of arguing with Harry.

"What did you see? Zoom? Did you see Zoom?" Harry asked as Cisco turned to look at me.

"No. I saw my brother. I got to go." Cisco frowned, sending me a small smile as I nodded, staying behind.

"His brother?" Jesse asked.

"They have a rough relationship. That's all for me to say." I offered as I heard Barry's voice with his dad's, Iris, walking out to go say hello.

"He calls himself Rupture. Another meta-human under Zoom's control from my earth." Harry pulled up a picture of Earth-2 Dante. I watched as Cisco paced back and forth, holding his head.

"You alright there Cisco?" I offered as he stopped, frustrated.

"Zoom must've lied to fake Dante and told him I was the one who Killed Reverb, 'cause dude wants me dead." Cisco looked at me sadly as I nodded. It still haunted me every once in a while. Cisco was the only one I told about Reverb potentially protecting me. As we stood around trying to figure out how to deal with Zoom, Rupture, and Barry with no powers, a beeping came in as I looked at the computer.

"Guys, there's an incoming message from CCPD. It has to be from Caitlin."

"What about Caitlin?" Barry asked as I looked at Barry.

"Rupture is gonna attack Jitters tonight."

I stood in Jitters fixing my earpiece as I sighed as I rubbed my head.

"You ready?" Joe stood in front of me as I nodded, pulling off my glasses as my eyes glowed.

"Ready as I'll ever be, Joe." I chuckled as Barry came up with a smile on his face. "Cisco still loves me?"

"He always will. You know he just cares about your safety. Why did you want to do this, anyway? We could have just used the Flash hologram."

"Gut feeling..." I looked away.

"Liz-" I put my hands up.

"Please, Barry."

"Alright."

As Barry left to head back to STAR labs and I made all the officers hide for safety, I stood in the middle of Jitters, rubbing my hands together as I felt a lump in my throat. You can do this.

"Here he comes." I heard over the earpiece. A second later, the glass doors shattered as Rupture stepped through the door.

"Now, where has everybody gone?" Reverb stopped, looking at me in surprise. "Not who I was expecting."

"Rupture, Zoom lied to you," I called out, my eyes glowing as he held his scythe towards me, but never fired.

"And why should I listen to you?"

"Because Reverb loved Siren. I know he hid her from Zoom, faking her death. I was there that night! The love he held in his...bad guy eyes couldn't hide from me. He was devastated when Zoom snapped her neck. Hell..." Fuck it. ,"He protected me!" I heard the murmuring in my earpiece as I turned it off. Dante removing his mask as he glared at me.

"What did you say..." Dante walked up to me and I saw Joe aiming his gun. I shook my head as I smiled.

"I was standing right next to Siren and Reverb. I watched as my earth-2 doppelgänger was murdered. Reverb stood in front of me, telling me to stay behind him while Zoom then killed him. I stood over your brother's body and my doppelgänger's crying for them because I understand. If I lost Cisco or he lost his brother, all hell would break loose."

"Liz! Get out of there!" I heard Cisco yell over the earpiece. I looked over, seeing Zoom standing there as my eyes glowed brighter, looking at Joe as he nodded, covering his ears with everyone else as I released a Siren Scream. This is for you, Elizabeth and Francisco.

"Bold words for a dead woman." Zoom chuckled, snapping everyone but Joe's and my neck, hearing the bodies thud to the floor as I backed up fear in my eyes.

"Stop it! You've made your point!" I choked back a sob as he grinned, rushing over to where Rupture and I stood, slamming his hand in Rupture's chest just like Reverbs.

"You're an even bigger disappointment than your brother." As Zoom walked closer to me, I leaned against the wall as he chuckled. "You are only alive because of Caitlin. Try something like this again, and my affection for her won't stop me from killing you...or the rest of this city."

After going back to STAR Labs and getting checked out for any injuries, I ran through the hallways, tears flowing as I looked for Cisco. Where was he? Stopping at his workshop, I stood there in tears as Cisco and Dante were hugging tight, leaning against the doorframe as I smiled, letting them have their moment.

"I don't think I've taken down so many buildings at once."

"Maybe you're not as powerful as you think!" I called out, standing behind some beams as Cisco winked at me.

"Looking good there Siren."

"You don't look so bad yourself there, Reverb."

"What are you two doing here?" Black Siren seethed, glaring at me as I smirked.

"Why should you have all the fun?" Cisco asked, his voice lowered to match Reverb's tone.

"I thought you two were dead."

"Zoom thinks that too, and we'd like to keep it that way."

"For Now" I batted my eyelashes, crossing my arms.

"You think you two can pull one over on Zoom? Well, enjoy being dead."

"We've done it before." I hummed, running a hand across Cisco's shoulders as I pouted. "I told you."

"Give her a chance."

"What chance?"

"She's not ready." I mocked Laurel, grinning as she scowled.

"Excuse me, do you know what I'm capable of?"

"Sadly. However, I believe I'm better." I grinned.

"Why you..." Black Siren went to take a step towards me as Cisco put his hand up.

"Try it, and I'll shatter your entire nervous system without breaking a sweat."

"Wow, you think you can take on Zoom."

"We can. You don't even know how powerful you are. Do you think I'd let you live for taking my name and be weak? Oh no, darling, I know you want to be just as powerful as me, if not more."

"So why serve a master when you can be a master...when you can be a god."

"If I were interested...what's your plan exactly?"

"We ambush him at CCPD, both of you taking opposite ends while I get him from behind. Our powers combined will be no match for him."

"Great, then let's go. Just one more thing, Reverb catch." She tossed some junk towards Cisco and he caught it. "Wrong hand."

"Siren Scream?" Cisco asked, and I shook my head.

"I can't control those." As Laurel-2 stood ready to kill the both of us, Cisco threw his hand up, blasting Laurel as I scoffed, eyeing him.

"What the hell!?"

"I don't know!"

"Well, do it again!"
