Chapter 10

My POV

"Harry! Don't shoot!" Cisco said. We ran back into STAR Labs, terrified as Zoom had kidnapped Barry.

"Dammit, Ramon. What happened?" 

"Zoom killed Siren, Reverb, and Deathstorm and then took off with Barry."

"He left you both alive?"

"He must care less about us than you do." Cisco said as Harry shook his head, grabbing his bag.

"Zoom does nothing by accident. No. Zoom is hunting us."

"Dr. Wells! What the heck is going on?!" Barry-2 called out as the four of us were running down the hall.

"Oh, Zoom's after us."

"Zoom? What do...why would Zoom be after you?" Barry-2 looked alarmed as Harry opened a Time Vault.

"Woah, you have a Time Vault?" Cisco asked as we all got inside, closing the door behind us.

"I'm an enemy of Zoom, and I need a place to hide when something like this happens. Now get in!" I heard the whoosh of air from a distance as Barry-2 widened his eyes and panicked.

"That's Zoom!"

"Harper...shut him up." Harrison backed up into a corner as he pressed a button. I slapped my hand over Barry-2's mouth, my eyes glowing as I sent calming thoughts as I leaned into Barry-2's ear.

"Hi, yeah. Long story short, remember that guy that looked like you? Yeah, he, myself, and Cisco here are from another earth. It's a long story I don't have the time or patience to tell you. So please, if you don't want to die..." The door opened, hearing the humming of Zoom's speed until it vanished and Harry dropped the invisible wall.

"We need to find a different place to hide and make a plan." Harry said as Barry-2 stepped forward.

"Wait, wait. Hey, hey, hey. No. I think before we do anything, explain to me everything that is going on here."

"Can we walk and talk at least?" I scowled as Barry-2 nodded. "Ok, Perfect. Let's walk and talk."

"What is Siren doing in your lab!" Iris-2 yelled, aiming her gun at me as I threw my hands up.

"Not your Siren!" I panicked, my eyes glowing as Harry and Cisco stepped in front of me as Barry-2 got her to calm down. He explained everything we had told him.

"So the Barry from yesterday was not you?"

"No. No, look, I...know that this is hard to believe, but I mean it's just like that sci-fi series Commander Carl, where carl gets sucked into a black hole and ends up on another plant that he thinks is Earth, but it's Earth of another universe." I opened my mouth, furrowing my eyebrows as I looked at Barry-2 as if he grew two heads.

"Have...have you guys not...oh, it's a seminal episode. You should check it out."

"So that's why you weren't wearing your wedding ring yesterday?" Well...

"And...that kiss was so..."

"I'm sorry. Did he get frisky with you? Nononono, I'm gonna have to find this guy and give him a piece of my mind."

"Your husband tells us you've been tracking Zoom." I tried changing the subject as Iris-2 nodded.

"Yeah, I've been trying to. Why?"

"We need to find his lair."

"Lair?" I turned to Cisco, who grinned.

"He's a bad guy; I'm calling it a lair." I rolled my eyes.
