Monday morning had rolled around quicker than anyone had anticipated. Work at the ministry had always started promptly at 9am for every employee no matter of rank or status. Hermione was always an early riser so this was never an issue for her. She had a habit of waking up at 6, wide eyed and ready to go. Hermione currently sat on the window seat in their room, sipping from her cup of coffee watching her girlfriend sleep. Bella on the other hand was not an early riser. In all the years that they had been together, Hermione could count the number of times Bella woke up prior to noon on one hand. Bellatrix was sprawled out on her back, mouth open with a gentle feminine snore escaping from her lips. Hermione knew that It would be a task for Bella to change her sleeping pattern. This was no surprise to her. Hermione summoned Twiggy who appeared with a crack that had no effect on her sleeping beauty.

"Good morning, Twiggy."

"What can Twiggy do for Mistress Hermione?"

"Twiggy. I've told you dozens of times, please just call me Hermione." She gave the small elf a warm smile though she knew the elf would never oblige. "We have two hours before work and I need to wake Bella."

"Oh mistress does not like to be bothered before noon."

"I know that but your mistress has decided to get herself a job that requires her presence every week day at 9am." Hermione smiled when a concerned look poured over Twiggy's features. "Can you please set the table with some tea and breakfast? Maybe the promise of food will help get her moving."

"Right away. Twiggy will prepare for the both of you." Twiggy popped out of the room.

Hermione put her coffee cup down on the windowsill and shook her head. Waking Bella up was never a fun task and not something Hermione had signed up for. "Maybe she'll make this easy on me." Hermione thought and immediately rolled her eyes. "Okay here goes nothing." Hermione slowly approached Bella's side of the bed. She did have to admit that her witch looked awfully cute when she slept so peacefully. Hermione knew the only true fire way to get Bella up would be with the promise of sex even though there wouldn't be enough time. Hermione laughing slightly and climbed on top of her lover, straddling her hips and sitting down gently. She leaned her body forward so she was flush up against Bella, her snoring a little more prominent from this position. Hermione stifled another laugh and placed a succession of gentle kisses along Bella's jaw. Nothing. Hermione was met with no acknowledgement from the other witch.

"Well that didn't work," Hermione thought. She kissed her way back up Bella's jaw and stopped at her ear. "Bella, love, wake up. It's time to get ready for work." Hermione cooed into her ear. Bella snuggle her head in slightly to where Hermione was speaking. Still obviously very much asleep Bella responded "five more minutes, love," while wrapping her arms around Hermione like she was hugging a giant teddy bear. Hermione reveled in the feeling of being held for a couple of minutes before she tried again, a little louder this time around.

Hermione sat up and started talking a little louder. "Come on Bella. It's time for work. You know the work you volunteered to start out of the blue on Friday."

She pulled Bella's wrists together. She held them above her head. This got Bella's attention. "Mmm pet, we've never tried this position before. Can't say that I'm usually one to submit but I am open to trying new things." She tried to pull her hands free. "Playing rough this morning l, are we Hermione?"

Hermione let go of Bella's hands which immediately flew to Hermione's hips trying to generate friction but Hermione anticipated that and was quicker, rolling off her lover. "Nope. Not right now. Sorry darling but it's Monday morning, Bella." Hermione said propped up on her elbow, looking down at the older witch.

Bella screwed up her face in confusion. "Yeah, so...."

"Monday morning..." Hermione said with a little more force behind her words.
