A/N: this chapter is smutty

A few weeks had passed without any signs of the mystery cloaked figured or any other threatening entities. Today wasn't about death or destruction, it was a day of celebration. Today was Hermione Granger's 23rd birthday and Bella was insistent on making the day entirely about her girlfriend. "It's not everyday you turn 23, my love," were Bella's exact words to Hermione when urging her to decide how she wanted to spend the day. Bella thought she would want a big party with all of her friends but Hermione decided that she wanted to have a "muggle day" with Bellatrix like they did before they went to Australia, ending in dinner with her parents.

"A muggle day? Are you sure pet?" Bella asked Hermione as they were about to leave the manor for the Leaky Cauldron.

"Yes, it sounds perfectly splendid. Maybe we will have a chance to play some board games with my family later. Could be fun." Hermione smiled.

"Board game? What the devil is a board game?" Bella turned her nose up.

"Oh you'll see." Hermione kissed her confused looking girlfriend on the cheek.

"Lead the way, pet. It's your day. Whatever you say goes." Bella said as Hermione grabbed her hand and walked towards the apparition point outside. Bella stopped pulling Hermione back to face her. "Whatever you say goes, except please not Tesco. I'll do whatever and go anywhere else just please don't take me back into that multifaceted hellscape."

"No Tesco. Promise." Hermione held her arm out for Bella to grab and they familiar pull fell into her stomach. They spun out in the middle of Diagon Alley in front of the Leaky Cauldron. "Perhaps... we could get an ice cream before we head out there." Hermione started pulling Bella towards Florean Fortescues.

"Okay. Just don't let Teddy know. He'd be absolutely gutted."

After the women ate their ice cream, they left Diagon Alley through the entrance by the Leaky Cauldron. Hermione had loved their muggle days out when visiting her parents. Bellatrix had finally started to relax around muggles. Mostly Hermione loved Bella's muggle wardrobe. Today, she was wearing a pair of black jeans, a dark green button up blouse, a small black corset (she insisted but a Hermione didn't complain as it fit in with the current style) and a black overcoat. Hermione was just wearing jeans, a white T-shirt and a maroon cardigan. They looked like a perfectly normal muggle couple to any passerby. Little did they know both witches had their wands concealed up their sleeves. Hermione pulled Bella through various book stores they passed on their walk. Of course Bella had insisted on paying for everything. Luckily she had remember to bring her "funny muggle money" with her. When they were out of sight, they shrank Hermione's books down for easy transport. "Bella, don't you just love the smell of these old books."

Bella smiled at her girlfriend, "it is a rather nice smell, love. Nobody loves books as much as you. I'd be happy to watch you browse these books shops forever."

"Okay but it must get a little boring for you."

"Nah. I found a few books for myself. These muggle horror books are quite enjoyable. Remind me that thank your dad for recommending them to me."

"You and your horror." Hermione rolled her eyes. "I love that you and my dad have a few things in common."

"Jack's a good man." Bella simply said which made Hermione smile brightly. "Well where to next my love?"

"Want to take a walk through the botanical gardens? It's not far from my parents house and we can walk to mom's from there."

"Sounds wonderful." Bella said pulling Hermione by the arm to a back alley so they could apparate. "Lead the way, darling. You know the way better than I ever could." Hermione grabbed Bella's hand and twisted, pulling them through space and landing behind the outhouse near the gardens. "You always land us near the loo or a dumpster." Bella laughed.
