The Blurred Vision of Tomorrow

Bella stormed through the floo and into the family room of Grimmauld Place. She packed as quickly as she could, not stopped for a moment as her need to get home was urgent. "Everybody, kitchen now. It's an emergency!" Bella demanded upon her arrival.

"Aunty!" Teddy shouted running down the stairs and into her open arms. "You are back! I missed you so much!" He squeezed her tighter than ever. He pulled back to look at her and poked her in the stomach. Bella playfully batted his hand away. "I needed to make sure it was really you. You've been gone forever."

"It feels that way to me too, Teddy." She ruffled his hair when he smiled up at her. She really did miss Teddy more than she expected to the last six weeks. It was nice to be able to give him a proper hug again. "How've you been? How's school?"

"School's been great! My teachers kept asking when you'd be back to pick me up again. I had to stay a few days late but I liked it." Teddy said, reassuring her. "Are we going to fly now?"

"No. I'm sorry but I really need to talk to your grandma and your aunts and uncles. Everybody home?"

"I think so..." Teddy said, looking a little confused.

"Tell you what," Bella squatted down to look Teddy in the eye. "How about you go out back with Twiggy and get the brooms ready and I'll be out as soon as I can and we can fly until tea?"

"Yay!" Teddy hugged his aunt again and then called Twiggy. When Twiggy popped into the room, Teddy grabbed her hand and pulled her to the back door.

As soon as Teddy and Twiggy closed the door behind them, Bella rolled her eyes and said aloud to nobody, "of course only Teddy comes when I call." She pulled out her wand and held it to her throat to amplify her voice. "Where the fuck is everyone? When I say there's an emergency and I need to see everyone in the kitchen... you idiots I call my family could at least pretend to care." Bella growled and lowered her wand but quickly raised it again, "Hermione, pet. You aren't included amongst the idiots."

"Bella!" She whipped around and heard the angelic voice of her girlfriend. Hermione came running through the kitchen door and threw herself into Bella's waiting arms. Hermione wrapped her legs around Bella's waist for a full bodied hug which the dark witch had melted into. "I missed you so much," Hermione confessed against Bella's neck. "You are never allowed to leave me for that long again. One, maybe two days tops and that's pushing it."

Bella chuckled, pulling back to kiss her girlfriend with unabashed passion. Hermione responded equally eager, moaning as she slid her tongue into her girlfriend's waiting mouth.

"Merlin, first I have to witness your floo sex, now just full on making out in the kitchen?" Andromeda scoffed walking into the room followed closely by Harry and a woman that Bella didn't recognize. Hermione dropped her feet to stand on her own but didn't remove her arms from around Bella's shoulders. "Where is the bleach? I'm either going to drink it or pour it in my eyes. Harry? Join me."

"Nah, a little kitchen snogging isn't enough to do me in," Harry smiled. "Glad to have you back home Bella. We missed you at work."

"I'm sure you did. I am quite a treasure". Bella rolled her eyes at the cheeky smile Harry was giving her then turned to her sister. "And you." She pointed to Andromeda who put on her best innocent face and pointed to herself. Bella nodded. "I will celebrate my return home with my girlfriend anywhere I please, all over this house, multiple times a day for however long we wish to continue. If you have a problem with it, see yourself out."

Andromeda smirked but went over to give her sister a small side hug, "it's good to have you back." Andy kissed Bella's cheek which the older witch immediately wiped off.
