A few hours later most of RPD was mostly abandoned. Only we remain on the inside. Me, Alyssa, John, and Alice.
We don't know where Irons is. The only Officers left is Marvin, David and us. "How is she?" Alyssa asked. "She's going to be okay...rested so much that hit almost split her head" John was tending to Alice. I couldn't take it. I needed to find someone or something. 2 days ago RPD was filled with people and now barely anyone remains within the walls of RPD. "I'm going to go look around and check for anybody near the lobby...comm me if you see one or more of those things" "Why can't I go with you?" Alyssa didn't like me going alone. "Because I can see in the dark and I'm faster. I need you to guard this door while I'm down there okay. I promise I'll be back" She quickly hugged me and I hugged her back and kissed her. "Keep an eye open" I told her and she nodded.
I aimed my gun down the hallway shining my flashlight. Powers erratic. Where the hell did bell go? "Bell if your around I need the power back on" I called out. The lights flickered on as he appeared. "Sorry for the power outage I was searching around the station. I found the chief of police but he was walking with some woman in a white dress and golden heels" "Odd...who the hell could be with the chief?" "Nevertheless where the hell is the rest of the police force?" "Two days ago there was at least 100 policemen now there's us 5, Marvin, David, The Chief, and maybe others" Have the dead breached the station? "Bell search the entire City and bring any survivors here...I'm going solo to search the station and mow down an undead ugly or two" "Searching the city is a stretch...try not to blow a fuse in the station. My power could only do so many things flip any switch and I promise I'll feel it" I nodded. "Bell" He turned to me. "Be safe bro" He nodded. "We're all going to make it through this...lock the gates when you get the chance and keep your head up...we'll be safe soon" He fazed into electricity and zipped through the walls. I sat in the chopper with my comrades alerted. Something was big was going down in Raccoon. It doesn't take 3 squads to stop a sudden viral outbreak. Not unless we were a rescue squad but that job is for STARS. Why would Umbrella send us? "This is Chopper Delta, Arriving at sector 7 for mission drop off" "Attention men! Our mission is to Rescue civilians and take them to safe zones located on the outskirts of the city, this your first mission for some of you but assure this is real deal! Look sharp! Look alive men!" The platoon leader Mikhail Victor. A Russian. He was pretty legit and a great captain. I'd follow him into hellfire anywhere. The man I sat besides was Olivera. Carlos Olivera. He was the sharpshooter. He was a better shot but sometimes it's not the guns your shooting. It's the shooter. The black guy with glasses was Tyrell. He was our nerd specialist. Basically our computer guy who can bypass a hacker if necessary. Though there was another guy in a different squad. I think his name was Kaplan. Cheeky bastard but he was alright. Hell all of my comrades were. "You ready for this Dee?" "Just leave the target practice to me while you rescue a couple of chicas amigo" "Nah man your the ladies man, you even got Ocampo looking your way" "Rain?" Rain Ocampo. That woman who was apart of a different squad. She was familiar too me. I couldn't think about that right now but every time I hear that name, I get these flashbacks. Stupid Dreams. "Rain is just a pushover" "Really? She's got eyes for you" "What a woman" I muttered not wanting to talk about her liking me. She doesn't like anyone. What the hell is going on in this city? We all strapped ourselves on the line and landed on a rooftop of a building. "Lets go go go!" Another Platoon Leader called out. So the mission begins. I held my m4 and cocked it and breathed. Somehow, I felt like I've been here before. This city, this place.
