It was my first day on the force. I was already running late. My Date broke up with me and here I am serving as a cop in this town. I turned on the music on my radio as I was passing buildings suddenly I saw a body in the street.

I stopped the car and turned off the ignition. "What have we here?" I muttered. I walked towards the body and saw a few crows fly away. "Jesus...what could have done this?" I looked around and saw a nearby dinner. There was the sound of screaming inside. "What the hell?" I pulled out my gun and ran across the street. I was opening the door and came face to face with a woman.

"Wait don't shoot!" "Get Down!" She ducked quickly and I fired a single round at the guy's head drooling with blood from his mouth. His eyes were milky white but now he was dead. I walked inside the diner and saw what looked like to be a married couple. "Are you alright?" The man with a torn neck was gushing with blood and pointed to his wife. I checked her for a pulse but she was gone. "I'm sorry but she's gone" The man had tears in his eyes as he stood up to hold her in his arms. "Sir I can get you to a hospital" He sobbed quietly and sat down with his wife in his arms. Then he tilted his head down and I realize what happened. He too had died. "No" The woman put her hand over her mouth. "I'm sorry...I wish I got here sooner" I felt terrible that I couldn't save them. "You okay?" "Yeah thanks" She said nodding. "Thank me later...when we're safe" I pointed towards the windows and saw more of those bloody people approaching the windows. "Let's head to the police station it'll be a lot safer" I told her. We ran outside through a Alley where those things chased us. We ran towards another street and was surrounded. "Over there!" I pointed towards a couple car. She lift up her gun and fired killing one instantly with a headshot. What the hell is wrong with these people?! We got into the car and I started it driving away from the diner. "You okay?" "Yeah thanks" "You got a name?" "Yeah Claire. Claire Redfield" "Leon S Kennedy...nice to meet you" "Wait your a cop?" "My first day on the force" "My brothers a cop too" I smiled. "It's a good thing we found each other Claire. I don't know what to expect anymore" I kept driving towards RPD. "Can you check the glove compartment?" "Sure...there's a gun inside" "Better take it with you" Not much further. RPD was just around the block. I felt my seat jerk and in between me and Claire a person in the backseat lunged forward trying to bite. "Dammit!" He growled trying to bite my shoulder. I couldn't avoid the guy and drive but after trying hard to avoid him we hit another car and spun around. "Hold on!" We hit a pole and the guy went flying out of the front windows. RPD was right there beyond the road block. "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah" she breathed feeling her head. "Looks like we're walking from here" Claire looked on her side of the window and saw more of them eating another person. We're they...zombies??? "Or running" "Yeah good call" Suddenly lights appeared in front of us. "What the hell?" "Claire get out now!" We were startled by zombies that appeared on both our sides blocking us in. "I can't!" "Hold on!" We both braced for the truck to hit and we jerked back by the impact as the truck rammed the car we were in through the road block and landed just in front of the gates of RPD.
