Chapter 15:sleep

Hunter's POV:

I walked into Jamie's bedroom the next morning and there she was, still in the corner. Wide awake like she'd been waiting all night for me to walk through the door. "Jamie!?! Did you stay up all night?" She looked me right in the eyes and nodded. I ran to her side vampire speed and picked her up. She squirmed around and screamed a few times. I laid her down in bed, then got under the covers myself. I took her in my arms and let her flinch a few times so she realized I was staying with her."Jamie, just sleep. Please. For me." It took a very long time to convince her, but she finally shut her eyes. I let her snuggle into my chest as she quickly fell to sleep. She had to be exhausted. Still groggy from just waking up myself, I passed out with her in my arms.
