Part 10

You walked to Soo Jung's house and knocked on the door. She opened it after a couple of minutes.

"Babe, why are you here this late? Is anything wrong?" She asked you.

You ignored her and went inside. You started crying as soon as you sat on the couch.

"F**k my insecurities, I hate myself" you yelled.

"What again? Seriously y/n, I'm fed up with your insecurities. I don't know how Namjoon is coping up" she said.

"Well he didn't cope up this time," you sniffled.

You explained what happened between you and Joon to Soo Jung. She was trying to understand your situation and well she succeeded in it. But that doesn't mean that she opposes Namjoon cause she herself knows him very well after staying with the band more than you.

"Y/n, Namjoon kept waiting for you until you returned. He endured your father's remark on him but he never tried to contact you or bring you back. He loved you all these years. And even after all this, I don't understand why you still hesitate about getting married" she tried to make you understand.

"Idiots can't you understand? Every girl gets nervous at the thought of marriage. It's just the same to me. Did I ever say that I'll not marry him?" You shouted.

"It was so sudden and for god's sake give me some time to process.. and that jerk is thinking that I don't trust him.. F**k both of you" you walked into the guest room and slammed the door shut.

Soo Jung sighed in relief that your thoughts towards marriage changed. She understood you now. She picked the mobile that's on the table, on call with Namjoon.

"Did you hear that?" Soo Jung asked Joon.

"Yeah" he sighed.

"You should've given her some time"

"I'll come there tomorrow morning and take her to our house. Can you stand her tonight?" Namjoon asked Soo Jung.

"For your information, she is my best friend. See you tomorrow" Soo replied and ended the call.

"I'm hungry" Tae came out of his room yawning.

"Let's eat" Soo went to him and hugged him tight.

"Eommoni" you were talking to Namjoon's mother through a call.

"Yes dear. Did you reach safely last night?" She asked you.

"Yes... are you leaving now to ilsan?"

"Yes...we will leave after lunch," she replied.

"Can I join you?" You asked her.

"A-are you sure? I thought of asking you but I considered your office work" she was surprised.

"I can manage through my laptop. So I can come with you both?" You asked her again.

"Sure dear. Come to our house before lunch. We'll be waiting"

"Yes...take care Eommoni" you cut the call.

You thought about this whole night and decided to stay with his parents to know them better. In that way, you can know them more and your nervousness would fade away. You decided to not talk with Namjoon until he talks to you first. This is time, it was his mistake to not hear what you were trying to say. He misunderstood you and he's going to solve it himself. You didn't think of talking first.
