I wrote the second half of this chapter literally high on anti-psychotics at 4 am last night. Like I literally couldn't even see properly😭. Anyways, I'm so happy and proud of myself for finally updating this book. And don't worry... You'll get the smut part too👀.

Enjoy!

"...and then he said that he's liked me for a really long time and- are you even listening?" Seokjin bumped his shoulder with Yoongi's, snapping the younger out of his trance.

"Yeah, sorry. Just remembering stuff," Yoongi replied but Seokjin followed his friend's eyes and found Jung Hoseok laughing among his circle of friends near the Arts department building.

"Remembering how you wanted to bang him?" Seokjin scoffed. He still didn't like sharing his best friend with anyone else but he was reassured that Yoongi was just a little smitten on Hoseok.

Yoongi gave Seokjin a distasteful curl of his lips but his cheeks spoke a different story. He slightly averted his eyes from his crush and pretended to check out the Arts building instead.

"Anyways, what happened next?" Yoongi inquired with nonchalance although Seokjin knew that Yoongi was quite invested in Seokjin's little love life.

"We exchanged numbers and Insta' handles but we haven't texted each other yet," Seokjin recalled as they inched closer to the gates of the university.

"Why not?" Yoongi asked, eyes drifting to the side to get one last glance of Hoseok.

"Um, I don't know. I guess he was busy? Tired? Nervous?" Seokjin listed down a few other possibilities as he narrowly swerved past a mob of flushed girls from his department.

"And what about you?"

Seokjin gripped the strap of his bag a little tighter and mumbled, "I don't... know. It felt weird."

"Why?" Even though it was suppressed, the concern in Yoongi's tone was evident.

"I mean, is this even okay? Does he actually like me? Do I actually like him? I've just been thinking a lot," Seokjin admitted with a heavy sigh, flashbacks of his restlessness from the previous night made his body shiver with a very uncomfortable sensation. He tried not to let his nerves take the best of him in public especially with so many onlookers nearby, even though they seemed preoccupied; Seokjin could not afford to have their heads turn at him.

"I think you're thinking too much," Yoongi pointed out before grabbing his friend's arm because Seokjin was about to walk straight into a busy road.

"Thanks," Seokjin exhaled, fearfully looking at the car, disappearing slowly in the distance, that could have run over him.
