AN HOUR LATER,
Lilac sat down on the bare grass in her training field with her soldier colored pant and tank-top as well as her bandana. Fighting today was really interesting for her as she had brought down three of their most respective and strongest training assistant all at ones. The shooting part wasn't that bad either judging from the number of accurate shot she gave to her opponent. For now she was exhausted and really felt like rushing into the bush to just get into the river around there to have a warm bathe.
People continued their training_that is those who had just arrived. She loved been around them because they made life really look difficult like it was truly. Not like the bar and cinema where people take life for granted. Just when Lilac was about to standup to continue her training as she still had thirty more minutes before she was free to go, she felt something or someone about to pounce on her_more like an unknown opponent and uncalled-for battle. She had to react fast or all her points will just run down and out eventually. She stayed in her fixed position_ pretending not to have noticed the activity that was about to be undertaken_then as she expected, a gun was pointed directly at her back facing her head, her resting time was over so it was fair for whoever was behind her to just initiate a battle. But she also had her own idea, which was why she waited gently until he was about to pull the trigger then grabbed the gun from behind, twisted and directed it right into the person's heart.
Death_the person was dead. And she had just gained a hundred point for the part of the body she had targeted and damaged. Everyone turned to look at her_including her instructor, it was like they were seeing a different person. Someone who had gotten a reason to want to survive suddenly. Staring directly at her instructor immediately after she shot the unknown person didn't make her see who the person was. And nothing also prepared her for the next thing that was about to happen. She had loss track of time_because under normal circumstance in their training rules_a person shot has got the liberty to resurrect a minute after. And so the guy in the mask kick her in the leg before she knew causing her to trip to the grass on her butt. Then instantly he punched her in the face and chest giving her no chance to think of how to fight back_the pain was unbearable. But in their training, feeling and pain was tantamount to weakness, as her instructor Bernard Faint would say, "you can only feel what you know will get you back on your feet. So feel strong and feel victorious." Then her father also had told her before leaving the house an hour ago that he was proud of her and she was the strongest person she had ever seen_that was all it took for her to get back on her feet like she wasn't even slightly hurt and begun hitting and punching the masked guy in the face, stomach and legs. After weakening him and even tired herself, she just used her left foot to drag the gun towards the direction of her unknown opponent to tease and lure him into getting on his feet_just when he also fell for her trap and was about to, she kicked it away from him with her right as she simultaneously used her left to stamp his head down, she lowered her right arm to grab the gun and this time around released the bullet continuously, making sure he died completely.
Once again everyone clapped and watched in awe at how she tackle the masked opponent. In their training procedure_it was only visitors from other training centers that was allowed mask. So when the man unhooked his soldier colored bandana mask from his head_all she did was stand at her position gaping. It was the last person she had expected_Jake Donovan, her father. No one had told her he was such a warrior and fighter. Because the few blows and kicks he managed before she fought him back was the most painful blows and kicks she had ever felt in her entire life of training and if one was to be seeing her right now, with the spots of blood that was surrounding and decolorizing her face and chest as well as leg, one would know she wasn't even near exaggerating and that her father must as well be a soldier or security agent like she had suspected. But what if he also learnt it the same way she is doing.

"See how much you have tarnished your father's eyes" Jake Donovan teased his daughter. She was tougher than he had thought of her, and she was also unpredictable in her fights and procedures in combat for her own good. She would win for them he had no doubt judging from the pain he was feeling from the bruises she manufactured on him. Coming here and fighting with his daughter was like killing two birds with one stone. Test his daughter's fighting skills and make his opponent think of him as a dead meat. Deceit! It's what one could use as a lethal weapon without getting into any kind of compromising trouble. He took his bulletproof off after he took of his shirt.
"I don't even know what to say" Lilac finally caught her breath.
"Come on! I'm not an old man for you to be taking pity on. But watch your moves next time because of your condition. It's could affect your baby." Jake quickly switched back to his denim jeans and brown T-shirt immediately it was brought to him.
Lilac smiled, "ok I will."
"Go and change and let me drop you to your workplace before you run late" Jake left her to change as he moved towards his very good friend Bernard Faint to inquire about how best things at the camp was going. As much as he was tempted to go and visit his mother who also lived in a cabin not far from the camp_he knew he couldn't. There was no time. His mother would understand_after all she was the one who thought him the adage, 'business before pleasure'.
