Helluva boss: dinotopia
It seems like a typical day at I.M.P, but when moxxie and Millie discover a mysterious totem in the shape of a half man half ceratopsian, things sure do happen!
Once on another assassin trip in the human world, the two are caught in a fearsome hurricane separating them from Blitzo, washing them on the shores of the lost world of Dinotopia, a utopian continent where people and dinosaurs coexist as equals and established their own rules and laws of their land. Now marooned on the island with seemingly no way off. Moxxie and Millie are shown around their new home with the help of their new traveling friends, the Dinotopia ambassador bix the protoceratops and a whole host of other creatures where they discover that the imps crashing on the island was fated as they are part of a huge destiny that would fulfill an ancient prophecy foretold by the Dinotopia god ogthar
This one has been in my mind since rewatching the Dinotopia miniseries on archive.com and rediscovering the Dinotopia books by James gurney. He definitely opened up a completely different world of imagination and inspired me to creature my own take taking liberties from not just the books, but from the three part miniseries and it's coexisting tv series that came alongside, and the animated film "quest for the Ruby sunstone". There are just so many incredible ideas and thought out into this immense world and all the different species in this land is truly amazing, like all the different dinosaurs from the Triassic Jurassic and Cretaceous coexisting together, the Cenozoic mammals from the forbidden mountains, the synapsids that were able to live on the island despite dying out before the dinosaurs, and the array of pterosaurs and marine life stretching from every corner of prehistory. Plus it would be pretty cool to have some of my favorite prehistoric characters be a part of this island as well
What do you guys think of this take. Of any of you are fans of the Dinotopia series then I'm sure you may like this take of my stories, if not then that's okay. These pitches aren't for everyone but they are for people with peeked interests and fascination
