Later on the same Tuesday afternoon Ophiuchus stands outside of house number 4 of Privet Drive in Little Whinging, he hesitates for a moment before knocking on the door.
Not a moment later the door is opened by a thin, blonde-haired woman with pale blue-grey eyes. "Yes? How can I help you?" She asked as she looks up at him quizzically.
"Petunia Dursley née Evans?" Ophiuchus asked as he looks down at the woman, wondering if this is the correct place.
"Um, yes. I am Petunia Dursley. You are?" Petunia asked looking even more confused.
"Petunia! What's taking so long?" A loud male voice yelled from within the house as heavy footsteps headed towards the door.
A large purple faced man with thick dark hair, a bushy black moustache and small blue mean looking eyes. "Who the hell is this?"
Ophiuchus looked the man over, not bothering to hide how unimpressed he is by him. "My name is Ophiuchus Rho Potter, I'm here to take my Nephew Harry off of your hands."
The Dursley's looked at him in shock for a moment before a look of disgust covered their faces, which makes Ophiuchus glare at them.
"I highly recommend that you don't try to fight me and just hand Harry over to my care." Ophiuchus ordered as he looked down on the two.
The Dursley's flinched back at his glare and quickly nod before disappearing into the house. A moment later Mr Dursley came back pulling along a scared small boy, with jet-black hair and startling green eyes, by one of the boys skinny little arms. He looks just like James did at that age except for his eyes and he's a lot skinnier.
"Here he is, take him and leave!" Mr Dursley yelled before throwing the 4 year old out of the house and then slamming the door.
Ophiuchus quickly catches the little boy before he could fall onto the rough pavement, though bruising up his own knees in the process, but at least Harry is okay he thinks with a sigh.
Harry looks at Ophiuchus curiously as the older Potter looks the boy over. He frowns at how skinny the 4 year old is, it is quite concerning. It looks like the Dursley's were starving the boy.
"Hmm, first order of business. Let's go get something to eat." Ophiuchus says to himself as he stands back up and carefully holds Harry so that the boy is sitting on his left forearm.
~R2D2 scream~
After having a very nice Lasagne at Tavolino's and watching the London night lights on the River, Ophiuchus picks Harry up again and holds him against his chest as he heads for his apartment in the Clock Tower.
Harry let's out a yawn before snuggling into Ophiuchus's chest as he begins to drift off to sleep.
Ophiuchus quietly makes his way up the stairs and unlocks the door to his apartment. He looks around and sees that it is just the way he left it, with all of his stuff still inside, even though he's been gone for 13 years. He probably has his master to thank for that.
He looks down at Harry who is happily sleeping against his chest, he's glad that he feels comfortable enough with him to be able to sleep so peacefully. He gently closes the door behind him and then moves over to the couch to sit down.
Ophiuchus pulls his letters from Lucius out of his coat pocket and places them down onto the table before placing Harry onto the right side of the couch and surrounding him with a wall of cushions and covering him with a blanket. He then removes his coat and hangs it over the back of the couch before sitting down and opening the first letter.
It is nearly midnight by the time Ophiuchus finishes reading the letters. They mostly consist of Lucius informing him on what has happened and telling him how he misses him. In the final letter Lucius tells him about how he was finally able to get divorced and that the Malfoy manors doors will always be open to him. Lucius also mentioned that he knows that Ophiuchus will go to his nephew first and he knows that his apartment is not big enough nor a safe environment to raise a child in, so he should come move into Malfoy Manor where there is plenty of space.
Ophiuchus chuckles at how well Lucius knows him even after all this time. He grabs some parchment and ink and writes a letter to his ex.
Hey Lucy,
You were right, the first thing I did after I returned was taking in my nephew.
Are you sure that it's okay for us to come to you?
Yours
Ophiuchus Rho PotterOphiuchus stared at the letter trying to decide if he should write more. He doesn't know what he's doing, is he being to casual after being gone for so long? He sighed and rubbed his head. It doesn't matter, he just wants to see Lucius. He folds the letter and goes over to his window. He tugs out a strand of his long hair and imbues it with magic, which transforms it into a black dove. He gives the dove the letter before opening the window and letting it fly off into the night.
Ophiuchus then closes the window and returns to the couch where Harry is still sleeping peacefully. He leans over the back of the couch and strokes a stray strand out of the boys face revealing a scar that looks like a lightning bolt on his forehead. He frowns at the scar, he can sense a dark magic within it. He'll have to ask Asclepius to have a look at it in the morning. He sits back down on the other half of the couch and leans back into the cushion before letting himself fall asleep.
