"What curse were you under? If you don't mind my asking." Lord Crouch asked.

"To explain the curse I must first explain the secret of the Perevell family." Ophiuchus began before explaining how the father of his ancestor Ignotus Perevell captured and bound Morgan Le Fae to him and forced her to birth three sons, who are the three brothers who created the Deathly Hallows. In revenge for what she was put through Morgan Le Fae put a curse on the family bloodline, this curse only affects those of the family who are born with both a magic core and magic circuits, which are used by Mages. Their two types of magic will constantly fight against each other inside the child's body until it kills them. It is very rare that the child will live past the age of 17.

The Lord's and Minister were all stunned to learn that such a terrible curse was placed upon the innocent children of the Perevell family. Children are extremely precious within the Wizarding world so to learn that such a curse exists and has been killing and all but torturing children is horrifying. They also now understand why the Perevell family line has all but gone extinct.
"Did you manage to find a cure?" Lady Bones asked.

Ophiuchus nodded, "I did find a cure, but it came at the cost of having to sacrifice one of my magics. I ended up giving up my magic core."

The Wizengamot all gasp in shock, but at the same time it made sense to them. If his two different types of magic were at war with each other then the best way to solve it is to remove one of the magic’s.

However unlike the others Dumbles wasn't impressed by his choice or sacrifice, instead he saw it as an opportunity. "If he gave up his magic core, then he is no longer a Wizard. Which means he no longer has any right to interfere in Wizarding affairs. So why should we listen to anything he has to say?" Dumbles asked Smugly.

The Knights of the Round Table all glare at Dumbledore as they grip their weapons.

"How dare you? A mere commoner..." Agravain began as he took a step forward and began to draw his sword but Ophiuchus holds out his hand stopping the black Knight from attacking. Though if glares could kill then Dumbledore would already be in hell.

Ophiuchus looks at Dumbledore and arches a brow at him. "Indeed, you are correct, I no longer have a magic core so I am technically no longer a Wizard. But that doesn't mean that I am no longer able to use wizardry, Albus Dumbledore. My ancestors the three brothers, who created the Deathly Hallows, were also inflicted by the curse and had to choose between their magic’s. Both Ignotus and Cadmus chose to give up their magic circuits, becoming full Wizards. But the eldest Antioch, the creator of the elder wand, like me chose to give up his magic core becoming a full Mage. But Antioch was still able to use wizardry because of his wand, The Elder Wand, which he placed his magic core inside of. This wand, the Elder wand, was made for the members of the Perevell family who choose to give up their magic core's to allow them to still use wizardry. But only the Lord of the Perevell house can use it as such, to any other mage it is merely a stick and to any other Wizard it is a slightly more powerful wand."

The members of the Wizengamot are all shocked by this news as they all believed that the Elder Wand was the most powerful wand created and can only be wielded by those who defeat its former master, their assumptions were nowhere near the truth.

Ophiuchus continues. "Though if you still feel that I am no longer a Wizard then I can speak as a member of the Mages Association, that has been around since 1 BC, and the Clock Tower, which has controlled Mage Britain since 500 AD. Long before the Ministry of Magic was even a thought, might I add. If you would prefer, then I can call for a meeting between the Wizengamot and the Lords of The Clock Tower. I'm sure they'll be happy to consider combining our two worlds of magic together, which honestly, was one of my plans for change from the start anyways, so it's no problem for me if you would prefer that."

The Minister cleared his throat. "I think that is actually a very good idea. I am quite curious to learn more about Mages and the difference between them and us wizards."

The other Lords nodded in agreement with the minister, whilst Dumbles looked annoyed by the idea.

Dumbles then gained a smirk as a thought crossed his mind. "Why is it that you have taken young Harry in as your ward? Lord Ophiuchus, as young Harry's magical guardian I am shocked that you would do such a thing without informing me."

Ophiuchus looked at Dumbledore with a blank face which basically read, What are you? An idiot? "Harry is my Nephew, as his only living relative with magic and knowledge of the Wizarding world, it is only natural for me to raise him. The real question is how are you, who has no relation to my Nephew in any way, his magical guardian? You who left him with magic hating Muggles. Or were you trying to make him become an Obscurus, like your Nephew, Aurelius. Now that I have returned there is no longer any need for you."

All of the Lord's and the Ministers eyes widen as they look between the two in shock. Meanwhile, Merlin gasped out an "Oof, he's gonna need some water for that burn." Which caused the Knights to all either sigh or face palm at the Mage of Flowers' antics.

Lucius cleared his throat and stepped forwards, "I'd like to add that I can confirm that young Potter was abused by the family that Dumbledore left him with, as I personally did an health check on him. Also, Ophiuchus and Harry have been living with me and my son in Malfoy Manor since Ophiuchus’s return, so there is no need to worry about the conditions that he is currently living in."

The Lord's and Minister all looked moved by Lucius's words, as they have all come to learn that he is a very caring and doting father and the young Potter is definitely safe with him.

But unlike them Dumbledore looks like he is about to snap, he can't believe that these people are willing to leave the Boy-who-lived with not only a Slytherin but also a former Death Eater. All of his plans are being destroyed and now he's losing the assets that he gained whilst he held magical custody over the Brat. But before he could say anything the minister spoke. "I recall seeing the boy with you during the opening of the Wills, he seemed to be very happy and comfortable with you, Lord Potter. I see no problem with you taking magical guardianship of your Nephew, since you are his direct relative and it was also a request from your late brother. Though if you don't mind I would be grateful if you could provide me with the evidence of abuse and the address of these 'magic hating Muggles' that he was left with. So that I can see that they pay for the crime of abusing the child."

Ophiuchus bowed slightly to the minister, "Of course, I will have them sent to your office before the end of the day." The Minister nodded in thanks before casting a weary and judgemental look at Dumbledore.

"If I may, I'd like to return to the subject of the Deathly Hallows." Merlin cut in, making everyone turn to him. "From what I have seen, you Albus Dumbledore are currently in possession of two of the Hallows. The Wand and the Cloak, the wand I understand you won through combat but the cloak has been passed down from Ignotus until it ended up in James Potter’s possession. The cloak has always been passed down from father to son, so you have no right to hold on to it, it belongs to the Potter family. Also now that Ophiuchus had returned and claimed the Perevell Lordship, the Elder Wand rightfully belongs to him. I strongly suggest that you return them to their rightful owners."

Veins have started to appear on Dumbledore’s face as he does his best to contain his rage. "I will." He spoke through grit teeth.

"That is wonderful to hear." Merlin replied with an all too happy tone. The flower Mage then turned to Ophiuchus and bowed whilst holding out his hands. A moment later his hands were full of glowing pink flowers that then evaporated to reveal a cloak and a wand. "Here you go my king, these are yours."

Dumbledore’s face paled in an instant. No! How!

"Thank you, Merlin." Ophiuchus smiled back at the incubus and accepted the two Hallows.

Merlin bowed dramatically whilst exclaiming that 'It is his pleasure'.

Ophiuchus looked back down at the Wizengamot, "I shall return you to the Ministry now and I will let you know when the Lord's of the Clock Tower are able to meet." He raised his hand and a moment later white light filled the room. After the light faded all of the wizards were gone except for Lucius.
