14. Fighting for Victoria

Xilliorn stood side by side with the dragon Clorvis as he watched the princess run until she took a step into a portal where they then descended into Berklia where a bunch of warriors was waiting for them.

They looked at each other and like some kind of telepathy between the two of them he knew what he was thinking. Which made them beat them faster than he ever had. Did he know that working with a dragon made it easier, but fighting with a dragon against other dragons is definitely a bad idea they defend each other and would not turn to fight the other.

Clorvis goes to the front line to burn them with his fire which comes out of his mouth which the guard is not prepared for which made him and Clorvis laugh.

"Is this what they call guards! We live in a land full of dragons and they don't even know how to fight them. What a disappointment!" He shouted at them breaking up and releasing a few men. Xilliorn couldn't believe his eyes, one of his best warriors had turned to them and was grinning at him.

"Can you make it against us? Because who disappoints whom? You're fighting your battle with a dragon! The one who called himself the prince of dragons." Indignant he looked at Buck standing there in front of him not knowing what to answer he had defected to the side of the princess, the princess that is. Who she always mocked when she wasn't there!

Xilliorn was unsure for the first time in his life his weapon was gone by going to the gate which made him feel naked with only this sword he had found from a guard lying dead in front of him though it would hardly do the damage as his ax would.

When he looked he saw six of his best men standing behind Buck which was just amazing. It was pure sarcasm what he felt except for the feeling of betrayal by them. Is this how she felt when Xilliorn disappeared? He was gone in a day without a word and this princess then made her turn by saying he left him which he could not have foreseen. So they came to this moment where they had to compete against each other on the field in front of the princess her white castle with the towers that made it look like she had a lot of power. She may think they are all her subjects and use them as her dolls to play with, but it is just a nasty witch who wanted him as a piece of meat for her even. You can't just expect someone to love you or want to marry you, princess or not.

Then he heard a familiar voice and looked after him before this man would attack with the group of guards still alive and standing and that was still too much to fight alone with the two of them.

"Xilliorn here," he heard the voice behind him, causing him to turn around and look at Tiny in disbelief. 'Tiny' he whispered totally shocked.

He looked at him not knowing that he had a different color of hair and was even taller than he was on earth. Had he fooled him too? This is so crazy how could he ever be such a great fighter or call himself the prince when he was so an idiot on earth. He had more men with him than he knew. Okay, he knew the dragon was a gamble that worked out well but for how long and are so bound by an oath as their fighters are? He knows they are not very loyal creatures because one day he found out in a not-so-nice way.

Because he suddenly got a mark on his ankle from a dragon that he let get too close and did something to the skin on his ankle. He doesn't know exactly what it meant but the skin turned into scales. It was just a small spot of scales that you could only see up close.

He turned to Tiny who was holding his ax tightly. He had no trouble holding it and he knew it was a heavy ax for untrained soldiers to hold and he just held it like it was a stick.

"But how and why didn't I see it before?" he asked as he forgot about the fight for a moment, but when he got his ax in his palm he felt a kind of spark that gave him the will to slaughter someone to finally get that anger out of his system. The anger he had felt all this time on earth but couldn't get out.
