Beatrix's POV
The guys and I were at a party. Correction, the most boring party in the history of the world.
"Can you get off the armrest, please?" Wendy said to Neil.
"Sorry." He said, standing up.
"Although it was nice of you to invite me, this doesn't seem like a very cool party," Will says.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you cancel a night out with Paris Hilton to be here?" Simon snaps back. Will shoots me a confused look.
"Wendy, do you have any more beer?" I ask.
"I think there's a box of my dad's small beers left. But don't drink it all. Charlotte Hinchcliffe and her mates will be here soon."
"Yeah, right, like she's going to come," Simon says once Wendy walks away.
"Why wouldn't she come?" Will asks.
"She's fit and popular," I answer.
"Therefore, she won't be coming," Simon says.
"Who won't be coming?" Jay asks walking up to us. He throws his arm over my shoulders and I lean into him.
"Charlotte Hinchcliffe," I say.
"I'd make her come. All over my face. You know, she has to get special bras made because not only are her tits so big, but they are perfectly round." Jay says.
"Like porn star tits," Neil adds.
"And she's a slag. She once munched off the whole rugby team." Jay says to Will.
"Can that be true?" Will asks.
"No word of a lie," Jay says.
"I heard that," Neil adds.
"Our school doesn't even have a rugby team," I say.
"It was another school, then," Jay says defensively.
"Which one?" Will asks.
"It happened, all right?" Jay says.
"Then you can tell me where," I say.
"You can ask her yourself," Neil says.
"Except she won't be here," Simon says.
"Jay, I'm off, mate. See you soon." Some guy says to Jay after getting his attention.
"All right then, mate," Jay says.
"Who was that?" Simon asks.
"Just a friend," Jay says.
"You've made a new friend?" I ask, with fake sadness.
"Oh, a friend," Will says.
"Since when have you had other friends?" Simon asks.
"Oh, a friend." I chime in.
"I knew him from when we were doing trials at West Ham. He's moved into the area. He's just some guy."
"Some guy!" I say.
"He's just some guy," Simon says.
"That's all it is," Will says.
"Just a friend from when Jay had trials at West Ham... That never happened." Simon says with a smirk.
"Don't forget the thumbs up," I say, holding up my thumbs.
"Oh, friend. New friend." Simon says.
"Friend," Neil says.
"Please be my friend," Will adds.
