Chirp~🎶 Chirp~🎶

"Hmm?"

A groan answered the calls the morning dawning to all. Bluejays and robins chirped merrily in the sunrise as the being opened their eye sockets for the moment then sighed as they remembered where they were. They had to make, sew, knit, and embroider several items as they were the only tailor in the little town. Several towners came to their store during the day and afternoon with little in the evening. They finished several other normal items civilians needed along with making some other garments for the richer residents.

Sighing, as a headache brewed deep in their skull. Laying up from their lying position did the sheets pool downward to where their redbones were easily seen along with some gray and yellow highlights in the various spots of their bones. Getting up from the comfort of their slumber and bed, they grabbed clothing from the closet along with fingerless gloves. Shrugging off their bottom pajama pants did they clean themselves in the bathroom they bought with their shop below them.

As they finished cleaning themselves and dressing in their clothing did they look in the mirror as they saw themselves in the mirror

They were a species called a Monster. They all held magic with some having more magic than others dubbed Boss Monsters. They were a Skeleton Monster which was considered the more powerful monster species along with being any gender they wanted. They usually went by male pronouns as they learned male pronouns earlier than female when they came into being.

Though he was an oddity even among his species. He was the only one to be born with red, black, yellow, and blue on himself than the normal white bones. He was also more powerful than normal among the skeletal species which made him an outcast even among his species. But he enjoyed the finer arts of making clothing or embroidery, considered a female art which made many make fun of him for it. He ignored it all as he enjoyed it unlike what others believed. He was called Error due to when he was startled enough or was triggered, symbols would float around him flashing ERROR in bright red or black.

Shaking his skull at the mirror as he got rid of the memories, he walked down to his shop and flipped the sign to open. He then looked through his notebook to see what he would create next for the children in the orphanage. At the end of the week, he gave the various outfits that weren't taken to the orphanage along with bringing some food and reading to them as he adored the children there.

He then heard the ringing of a bell which meant a customer. He then put away the notebook as he gained this serious look on his skull and faced the music of every customer that came into his store.

On the other side where Error was in his store, another skeleton showed up in town with a bored look. His eye lights switched every shape and color with every blink he did. He looked around as someone ran up behind him while gasping for air.

"Lord Ink!!! Please wait!!!!"

Ink looked behind him to see his best friend Dream panting while catching his breath. Ink chuckled sheepishly as he looked back at his friend.

"Sorry Dream, I just really want to find a muse ya know?"

Dream looked at his friend with a sigh. It was well known by everyone in the kingdom that the heir to the throne was an artist of the highest degree. Anyone that ever saw his painting was in awe of its beauty and ingenuity of it. Ink was also known to be the best swordsman in the kingdom and never once lost to an opponent. The king has tried to set Ink up with someone but every single one of them was rejected or thrown away after. Which was why Dream was here with Ink as the king practically begged Dream to get Ink a partner. The king didn't care if they were a commoner, noble, spirit, demon, male, girl, non-binary, or even an intelligent beast! He wanted his child to have a partner and Dream was the only one to keep an eye on the other.

"We all know that Lord Ink, but I don't think we can go anywhere without changing into local clothing."

That made Ink pause as he looked at his clear prince outfit and sighed with a pout.

"You have a point, my friend. So, where may the local tailor be?"

"You're looking for Tailor Error?"

Both jolted as they looked at the female woman. She wore a simple dress of commoners but they could see the basket full of food. Her eyes were a nice silver-gray with the light making them seem green in the light. She also wore glasses that complimented her face along with her hair in a simple ponytail. Ink gave his princely smile which she deadpanned at before looking at Dream.

"We only have one tailor in this town. He's a skeleton monster, same as the two of you. Just keep going down this street and take one right at the end and you should see a sign with a simple needle and thread in front. Also, don't mind his serious facade as he's run ragged in this town. Nobody else is a tailor and he's the only one we have so he makes all the clothing and other items."

Dream smiled at the kind woman while nodding. She nodded back with a small smile as she ended up walking away. Ink then grabbed Dream while dragging the other to the shop.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a few minutes and following the instructions they spotted the shop and went in as a bell rang up from above them. Ink looked at all the clothing while Dream already grabbed some commoner clothing for himself. Though Dream seemed distracted by the fabric as he felt how soft and clean it was. It was quality fabric and sewing which made the other smile at how good this Error's technique was with the art of clothing. Ink was still stuck on the clothing as none of them caught his attention.

"Is there something you need gentlemen?"

Ink looked to only stop as he saw what was presumed to be the owner. His mind went blank as he saw the unique and beautiful being in front of him. The wonder black with lines of blue, the red seeped into the bones. The wonderful red metacarpals with dipped yellow phalanges. Red eye sockets with heterochromia eye lights that just made his face heat up at the absolute beauty he's seen. They were so unique and beautiful that they made his being feel so pulsed with desire and inspiration.

Dream was also in awe of the unique skeleton but he saw how Ink was so taken with the other that Dream secretly smiled as he may have found the partner that the king begged him to get.

Error looked at them with a deadpanned face as they stared at him. Though he wondered why the rainbow-eyed one was starting to blush rainbow. Shrugging he sighed which seemed to knock them out of their stupor while the rainbow one seemed to wipe away something black from their mouth.

Why did he feel the need to run away?
