Story Idea: Have to be Miserable, To Save Everyone

The Idea; Error was always sullen or either completely negative towards everything. Many have tried to give him happiness but he sneers or either walks away with a worse mood. He trust nobody and nothing of which made others desperate to know the reason why he was. But since Error was like a total asshole, everyone was leaving him one by one, as they were tired of the 'manchild'. But that was the plan Error had in mind, he wanted to be lonely to keep the Multiverse from truly dying.

As sealed deep in Error's soul was a being that will destroy countless Multiverses for its own pleasure and to consume endlessly. The seal used the very negativity of the carrier to keep the being sealed but if they ever felt positivity then the seal will deteriorate until the being destroyed Error's soul to destroy everyone and everything. So, Error made himself miserable to keep the seal intact until he found a better solution.

Here is some important info if you want to make a prompt or story of this:

-Nightmare has a crush on Error but due to Error being a douche, he hides the crush with shame and extreme sadness. Nightmare acts like he hates Error deeply but it is the total opposite.

-Lucid(DS! Nightmare) knew Error and they became good friends that transcended into dating. Error never knew of the sealed being in his soul until he found the dustpile of Lucid in another AU. That was when Error's torment began as the being in him made him hallucinate and kill off anyone Error adored.

-The weaker the seal is, the more the being in it can mess with everyone around them and kill others. Once the seal weakens, it stays weakened so Error has to use his own negativity and willpower to contain the entity to strengthen the seal.

-Swad(DS! Dream) hates Error as he thinks that Error killed off Lucid, not knowing they were dating nor of the sealed being in Error. Swad takes pleasure in tormenting Error while dating Nightmare to get back at Error.

-Ink acts like an extreme asshole to Error due to Error being a destroyer and abandoning him. Error once dated Ink and it ended with PJ and Gradient coming into being. Sadly, the sealed being tried to kill the two children off of which Error decided to cut ties before they were killed. So, Error acted like he hated his children and Ink while his negativity went through the roof. Now, Error never truly knew how the seal worked until he left his family. It was when he found out that his own positivity weakens the seal.

-PJ and Gradient know that their Papa(Error) had to cut his ties with them to save them. They never faulted him as they felt the seal when they were really little. They tried to tell their Dad(Ink) but the other was too heartbroken that Error did that to them to even listen to them. So they really are the only ones that have a clue to what was really going on. So they secretly search the Multiverse for answers to save their Papa before it was too late.

-Dream dislikes Error, he can't genuinely hate Error due to being a Guardian of Positivity but he dislikes Error, heavily. He can't feel an ounce of positivity from Error of which made a small part of Dream want to give the other some joy. But since Error goes to great lengths to generate more negativity than Nightmare, Dream decided to just let the other die than help him. Dream is deeply sickened by Error and when he's in Error's presence he literally throws up to get rid of the extreme amounts of negativity.

-Dream dated Ink for a couple of years but both broke it off due to differences in views. Ink wanted to ACTUALLY still save Error as he still held some love for the destroyer but Dream wanted to kill Error to stop the overwhelming negativity. Unless the facts are laid right in front of him, Dream will still kill Error no matter the scenario.

-Lucid is still alive as the dustpile was thankfully a copy of him but Lucid is now kept captive in an AU. He is forced to watch Error grow to great lengths to keep the being sealed still thereof which made Lucid extremely protective towards Error. He hates that Error has to generate constant negativity to keep the being from escaping of which he constantly searched for ways to escape to get to Error.

-Swap really wants to help Error but he has tried everything to try and help the destroyer. Swap is slowly giving up on helping Error.

-The Gang that Nightmare gathers has an extreme dislike towards Error due to the attitude and being rude in general. Though they do feel sympathy as they see that Error is trying to keep them away in general than really hurt them. Though, they are curious as to why Error keeps them at a distance.

-Error secretly gives everyone dolls or clothing to say sorry in some form. Error has to keep up a certain attitude to make sure that he can keep the negativity in him constant but he gives gifts as an apology in secret. Nobody knows who gives them the dolls or clothing but they adore it nonetheless.

-There is a secret organization that knows of the sealed being in Error of which they gathered data on Error in a secure file. Everything Error did, his secret apologies, his true reason for his actions, and his past are included in the file. The organization wishes to unleash the being in Error of which would kill Error of which they don't really care about that part all that much.

-Lucid is in the AU the organization is in as they were the ones to kidnap him and contain him.

-The being in Error CAN stop destroying and be good but they want to hurt everyone in some form. Though they have some care for Error as they have been with Error before he truly became Error. They just weren't sealed in him until a Creator came up with a solution. Error just became the scapegoat of an unfortunate fate.

-To truly kill the being, you have to find their SOUL. Of which no one knows what their SOUL even is.

And that about the most important bits!

Oh! And Abyss finds the AU and the secret file of which he gets Lucid and the file before anyone found out! Now, that's how everyone finds out what Error is truly doing but it's all up to you how they react but you bet that everyone will try to save Error from this unfortunate fate!!!! :D
