The nations are tough, resilient, strong. All of them. After what they've probably been through in their immortal lives, they're still standing. So I thought, why not try to find a song that reminds me of their strength, resilience, and toughness. But I found a few and couldn't decide which. And, hell, there might be some songs you guys think of that I may not have heard of or considered.
Here are a few:
The thing I liked about these songs is that the objects the singer references (rubber, titanium, diamonds) are not entirely indestructible. They can all break, bend, or be destroyed at a certain point. Diamonds are hard but that doesn't not mean they can't be shattered, rubber can snap if pulled too hard, and titanium still has a melting point. But they are strong, resilient, and tough. Like the nations. :)
