Ouran High School Host Club Preferences

When You're Injured-

Tamaki Suoh-

The second Tamaki sees you limping into the music room with a bandaged arm, his eyes fill with panic.

"My dear, my angel—what happened to you?! Who did this?! I'll duel them in the garden!!"
You try to explain it was just a clumsy fall, but he's already fluffing pillows and making you tea. He won't leave your side all day, hovering like a nervous prince.
"You're not allowed to get hurt again, do you hear me? It breaks my heart more than you know."

Kyoya Ootori-

Kyoya may seem calm, but the second he hears from Tamaki that you collapsed from exhaustion, he's by your bedside within the hour.
He sits in silence, fingers gently brushing your wrist to check your pulse himself.

"You need to take better care of yourself. If you won't for your sake... then do it for mine."
The rare softness in his voice lingers longer than any medicine.

Kaoru Hitachiin-

Kaoru hears about your injury before class even starts. He finds you with your sprained ankle elevated and immediately sits by you, brushing your hair out of your face.

"You've gotta stop being a superhero, you know. I worry about you too much."
He carries your books for the week and insists on walking you everywhere, even if you insist you're fine.
"Too bad. I'm staying close. Deal with it."

Hikaru Hitachiin-

Hikaru pretends he's not panicking, but the second he sees your wrapped wrist and bruised shoulder, his heart clenches.

"Idiot! What were you thinking?! What if it had been worse?!"
He feels awful for yelling and later apologizes by laying beside you in your bed, his hand gently holding yours.
"Just... promise me next time you'll let me protect you, okay?"

Takashi Morinozuka-

You fainted from not eating enough during a busy club day, and Mori caught you just in time. He stayed at the infirmary until you woke up, his calloused hand wrapped around yours.

"You push yourself too hard. You don't need to do that here."
When you're strong enough, he carries you home himself without a word, but his protectiveness never leaves his eyes.

Mitsukuni Haninozuka-

Honey was in tears when he saw your scraped knee and bruised elbow.

"My little bunny got hurt?! Who did this?! I'll karate them!"
He cuddles beside you on the couch, Usa-chan tucked in with you, and feeds you sweets to "help you heal faster."
"Don't scare me like that again, okay? You're too precious to be in pain."

Ritsu Kasanoda-

You showed up to school with a bandage over your brow and a limp, trying to act like it was nothing. Bossa stared at you for a moment, red-faced, before blurting:

"W-who hurt you?! I swear, I'll destroy them!"
When you admit it was an accident, his face softens and he shyly hands you a lunchbox he made.
"I... I just don't like seeing you hurt, alright? Eat something. Please."

Yasuchika Haninozuka-

You showed up to class with a brace on your wrist, trying to write with the other hand. Chika noticed instantly and wordlessly slid his notebook over.

"You're not taking notes like that. I'll write for you until you heal."
When you try to argue, he blushes and avoids your gaze.
"Just shut up and let me help you, dumbass."

Umehito Nekozawa-

You collapsed during P.E., and when Umehito finds out, he's rattled. He waits by your dorm door with Beelzenef in hand.

"The shadows told me something was wrong... I should have come sooner."
He gives you a charm for protection and gently tucks your hair behind your ear.
"Even the darkness fears for you. And I... I do too."
