Tamaki Suoh- Not understanding sarcasm/taking things literally
You tilted your head, confused, "But you said you hated it..." you whispered. Tamaki blinked, then gasped, suddenly realizing what you meant, "Oh no—my dearest! That was sarcasm! I was being dramatic!" You didn't respond, lips tugging down. His hands found yours immediately. "I'm so sorry, my precious flower. I forget sometimes that sarcasm is like a second language. I should never joke like that." You looked up. "So... you don't hate it?" you asked, "I adore it," he said with a smile, kissing your knuckles. "And I adore you. Exactly the way you are."
Kyoya Ootori- Sensory issues/astigmatism
Kyoya noticed the way you flinched at the overhead lights and kept adjusting your glasses, "Too bright?" he asked softly. You nodded, rubbing at your eyes. "Everything feels too sharp. And my lenses aren't helping today." Without a word, he pulled out a pair of his blue-light glasses. "Try these. I had them adjusted with a softer tint for myself... but they might help you more." You put them on and blinked. The world softened. So did your chest, "Thank you," you murmured. He touched your cheek gently. "There's no shame in needing comfort. You deserve it."
Kaoru Hitachiin- Difficulty with eye contact, hair pulling when frustrated
You didn't meet his eyes during the movie. Your fingers were tangled in your hair, tugging softly. Kaoru noticed instantly. He scooted closer, gently wrapping a scrunchie around your wrist, "Use this, yeah? Be kind to your scalp." You nodded silently. He smiled, brushing a soft kiss to your temple, "And don't worry about the eye contact. I don't need you to look at me to know you love me."
Hikaru Hitachiin- Struggles With Change In Routine
Your breathing was tight, eyes unfocused, hands fidgeting in your lap, "The bus was early," you whispered. "It wasn't supposed to be early." Hikaru knelt in front of you. "I know. I know that threw everything off." He said, "I feel broken for caring so much." He took your hand. "You're not broken. You're you. And if a schedule makes you feel safe, then I'll learn it. I'll keep track. I'll be your constant."
Takashi Morinozuka- Collects shiny rocks
You sat with him near the riverbank, fingers trailing through pebbles until something sparkled. You held it up to him shyly. "This one reminded me of you." He studied it carefully, then smiled. "Thank you." He placed it in his pouch—the one with dozens of small, glistening stones. Then, without a word, he pulled out one shaped like a heart and placed it in your palm, "This one's always been you."
Mitsukuni Haninozuka- Excited wavy hands
You bounced in place, hands flapping with excitement as he walked into the room holding your favorite cake. Honey lit up. "You're flapping!" he cheered, mirroring you without hesitation, "I am," you said shyly, embarrassed. He giggled and grabbed your hands, giving them a squeeze. "I love when you flap. It's like watching joy fly." You couldn't help but beam.
Ritsu Kasanoda- mouth popping
You didn't even realize you were doing it—making small popping sounds with your lips to self-soothe while you waited. Ritsu looked over, then smiled. "That's kinda cute, you know." You flushed. "It's a stim. I can't help it." He shrugged. "So? I think it suits you. Want me to pop too so we're even?" He did it, terribly, making you laugh so hard you snorted, "See?" he grinned. "Now we're a duet."
Yasuchika Haninozuka- Tiptoes everywhere
"Y/N... are you on your toes again?" Chika asked, watching you from the couch. You looked back, slightly embarrassed. "I didn't even notice." He smirked and stood up. "Wait—like this?" he mimicked you, tiptoeing exaggeratedly. "It's fun, honestly." You giggled. "I like your quirks," he said softly. "They make you... well, you. And I kinda love you."
Umehito Nekozawa- Hand flicking
Your fingers flicked rapidly as you paced, the flick-flick-flick of your hands calming the storm in your brain. Nekozawa appeared from the shadows, cape swaying. He didn't say anything—just mirrored your flicking motion with his own gloved hand, "I do this when I get excited," he whispered. You blinked at him. "You're not weirded out?" He shook his head gently. "No. I'm... comforted. We both speak a language others miss." And for the first time all day, you didn't feel alone.
