Flinching During An Argument-

Tamaki Suoh-

He hadn't meant to raise his voice—he was just upset, emotional, dramatic as usual. But when you suddenly flinched and backed away from him, his whole body went still.

"Wha... wait—did you just... flinch?"
His heart broke on the spot. He instantly dropped to his knees in front of you, hands hovering but not touching.
"I would never hurt you. Never. I'm so sorry if I scared you. Please—please don't be afraid of me."

Kyoya Ootori-

Kyoya didn't shout, but his voice had turned cold, sharp with frustration. That was enough. You recoiled—barely a twitch, but he noticed.
He froze. Glasses slid down his nose a little as he looked at you—truly saw you.

"You... flinched."
He took a quiet breath, gently set his notebook aside, and sat down.
"I didn't mean to speak to you like that. I was wrong. You matter more to me than being right ever could."

Kaoru Hitachiin-

You were bickering—playfully at first—but Kaoru's teasing hit a nerve. When you flinched, his eyes widened instantly.

"Hey... hey, no. No, I didn't mean it like that."
His voice went so soft, hands slowly reaching out but not touching until you nodded.
"You're safe with me, okay? Always. I should've been more careful. I'd never, ever want to hurt you."

Hikaru Hitachiin-

Hikaru had been venting, frustrated—his voice loud and wild like a storm. When you backed away with a flinch, the world went silent.

"...Wait. You think I'd...?"
He stepped back from you immediately, guilt flooding his face.
"I didn't mean to scare you. God, I'm so stupid. I'm sorry—I just... I get loud, and I didn't think. But I would never hurt you. I swear on everything."

Takashi Morinozuka-

Mori doesn't yell. But when you were arguing about you overworking yourself, he'd raised his voice just once—sharp, serious.
And you flinched.
He stopped instantly.
He knelt in front of you and gently reached for your hand.

"I didn't mean to frighten you. I'm sorry. Please don't ever be afraid of me. You mean too much to me."
His thumb traced soothing circles over your skin until you were calm again.

Mitsukuni Haninozuka-

Honey had never been angry at you, not really, but he had shouted because he was scared.

"You could've gotten hurt!! You can't just run off like—"
And then he saw your shoulders tense and eyes widen in fear.
His voice cracked.
"No, no, no! I'm not mad—I'm just scared! I'd never hurt you, bunny! I'm so sorry..."
He hugged you tight with shaking hands and whispered sweet apologies until you could breathe again.

Ritsu Kasanoda-

Bossa doesn't yell—but his voice is loud and rough by nature. When he got worked up and started pacing, you flinched as he passed too close.
He froze in place, looking at you like you'd stabbed him.

"Did... I scare you?"
His entire posture softened.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you feel like that. I'd never... I'd never hurt you. You're... important to me."

Yasuchika Haninozuka-

Chika was grumbling and snapping—defensive, irritated. He turned toward you a bit too fast and your whole body jolted.

"Wait. Wait, no—did you think I was gonna...?"
His face went pale.
He backed off and sat down, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have raised my voice. I'm a jerk. But you—you never have to be scared of me, okay?"

Umehito Nekozawa-

You were arguing about something minor, but his cloak had swirled and his voice got deep—dramatic.
When you flinched, he went quiet.
Dead quiet.

"...Forgive me."
He immediately stepped into the shadows, voice soft and trembling.
"I never wanted to be someone you feared. That... that would destroy me. Please... don't pull away."
