Ray pov:

He didn't know how long he had been here now. The days blurred together in a confusing mess. He wished the drugs and experiments would kill him by now. It was better than going through all this pain. It wasn't worth it.

Every day was practically the same. They would make him go through extremely hard tests, pump drugs into his body, then do other experiments depending on how well he did on the previous tests. Like a punishment.

Recently though, he had been communicating an escape plan with some guy name Vincent. It was through the testing room, when he noticed something different about the setup. It could always have been people just moving things or cleaning it, but he left a note inside the rubix cube just in case. His suspicions were right, and thanks to them he was going to finally get out of there. They planned on setting Lambda on fire and stealing the information of the drugs. Create a cure for the side effects.

'This plan has to  work.' He thought desperately.

Today, He promised himself he would see Norman and Emma one last time before he died. He knew they have escaped by now. The question was if they will survive outside. Especially with them bringing all the kids. He never liked promises, although in a way they were like hope for him. Promises were sort of bittersweet for Ray, but the teen was determined to see his siblings again...

Ray shook the thought away, as he stood up and stumbled his way over to the bathroom. He used the wall as support as he walked. The drugs had started giving him headaches and nausea. When he started coughing blood the day before, he knew it would only get worse. That's when Ray knew that the drugs would eventually kill him.

The time spent at Lambda could be described with only a word. Hell. All the pain and suffering. The screams and cries of other children. The fear in their poor faces as he walked through the halls.

It took almost all of his self control to not just break his mirror and end it all. Take a shard and cut along the main artery in his neck. He knew it was reckless, and if he failed it would only lead to more trouble. He also kept Norman and Emma in his mind. He hoped they were okay.

Everyday, he would communicate with Vincent about the escape plan. He would pay attention to every single word the adults said and used it to his advantage.

In just a few days they would initiate the plan. Right now, they were trying to smooth out the plans of the escape and make sure everything was prepared.

For now though, he just had to wait.
