"Where on earth is that sound coming from?!"
Irritation woke me up when I heard a ringing sound. I couldn't see where's the sound coming from because my eyes were closed so the only thing I can do is to blindly get my phone to check if that's making the annoying sound.
And . . . I was right. Someone's calling. But, I'm too lazy to see who's calling so I just answered it. Baka emergency kasi.
"Hello? Who am I speaking to?"
"Good morning, Zye. It seems like I woke you up from your sleep." His low voice was familiar but I didn't minded it.
"Okay . . . Just tell me who you are and what do you need, please."
"I'm here to explain why I'm not there on your special day . . ." The voice I was hearing suddenly switched to a soft voice so I got alerted. It even became my cue to check who's calling and my eyes widened in shock to see who it is.
Andrius Leo Chavez
00:48"What the hell, Andrius?!"
"How did you know my number?!"
I heard his chuckle on the line. "I can sense that you're awake now."
"What do you want?!"
"I'm glad that you asked that, huh. I thought you'll be hanging up immediately if you know I was calling."
That made me realize that what I should be doing right now. Why didn't I hang up?! "Right. Silly me. Why would I ask what do you want when I already knew what is it?" I responded. "If you want to explain, no! Take that explanation of yours and go to your house and fix your problem. I don't care what it is, just fix it!"
"Ashandria . . . If you would just liste-" Before he could complete his sentence, I already pressed the hang up button and bring back the phone on the night stand.
"Explain your face. I don't need it," I told myself, looking at my phone on the night stand.
