"Hey, wake up, sleepy head!"

That line came from a guy's low voice yet attractive woke my almost 8 hours of sleep that almost irritated me. I was about to scream when I saw my phone in front of me, having an ongoing video call with Andre.

Agad akong napabangon sa kama at tiningnan siya sa screen. Judging from what I'm seeing, he must be in the kitchen, preparing his breakfast.

"How long have we been talking?" I asked him.

"Since last night."

My eyes widened in shock. "WHAT?! Why didn't you hang-up the call?"

I heard his chuckle with his low voice, before looking at me back. "You're just too adorable to watch you sleep because-" Napatigil siya sa pagsasalita at napatingin sa likod ko kaya nagtaka ako. What is he looking at?

Napatingin na rin ako sa likod ko pero wala naman na kahit ano ang nandoon. "What are you-"

"You're not in your house, Zye. Right?" He cutted me. Ilang beses akong napakurap sa sinabi niya, hindi alam kung paano sasagot. I haven't returned to the mansion ever since my birthday!

"Uh . . . yeah. I was in the hotel."

His face became more serious. "And why?"

I let out a stressed sigh as I rolled my eyes. "It's because of Mom and Dad. They set me up into a situation, again!"

"What situation?"

I tighten my lips together. I can't tell him right now. But, how do I say it?

"It's okay if you can't open-up right now. I will wait for you to be comfortable." Napaangat ako ng tingin nang sabihin niya 'yon. We stared at each other's eyes for a while before giving a small smile to each other.

"I'm gonna be late for school. Take care of yourself, Zye," he told me before ending the video call.
