THE OPENING OF WOUNDS
━━━━━━━━━━━━
Lee Na-Yeon was going to throw herself out of the window of the science lab if Kang Yu-Jin and Kim Ji-min didn't stop being all couple-y by the sink. She didn't know if it was the jealousy or just the fact that they were kissing each other in front of everyone else. She hated every part of it.
There was no denying it. Na-yeon had a crush on Kang Yu-Jin, a soft spot for the charmingly annoying athlete with gorgeous hands and an equally gorgeous body. She felt her cheeks heat up at the simple thought of her. She looked at her, watching as she smiled at something Ji-min said. Her hair fell into her face and she watched Ji-min lightly run her fingers through her hair, pushing the strands back with a smile.
Na-yeon was about to throw up.
Yu-Jin caught her staring, smirking. She turned back to Ji-min, looking far too pleased by the fact that she had found Na-yeon staring. The girl couldn't bring herself to look away, but she had to when Yu-Jin pulled Ji-min into a kiss.
"You're so pretty," Yu-Jin whispered to Ji-min, who's cheeks went red at the compliment.
"You guys have got to stop," Hyo-ryeong smacked Ji-min's shoulder. "Not the time."
"Sorry," Ji-min said to her best friend.
Yu-Jin spotted Hee-Jin and Yong-Jin, her fellow Jin's, were in each other's arms in the corner of the room, watching the door. Finn was keeping to himself and Hiro, surprisingly, had Nam-ra's head on his shoulder. She had never seen that coming.
"No, I wasn't bit, really." Hiro's head shot towards I-sak, startling Nam-ra off his shoulder. On-jo and I-sak were by the window, and I-Sak wiped at her nose which was leaking blood.
Everyone was looking now. "I mean it, I really wasn't." Hiro felt Nam-ra settle her head on her shoulder again. Na-yeon, who's head was resting on her outstretched arm on one of the tables, tiredly glanced up.
"What's going on?" She pushed herself up, standing. "Were you bit?"
"No, I wasn't!" I-sak ran to the mirror by the sink near the science lab's supply room. Finn walked towards her to console her, placing a hand on her shoulder, looking at her eyes.
"Your. . . your eyes," he said.
"Hey, you're okay, right?" Gyeong-su asked her as her eyes became bloodshot and her face went pale. I-sak slowly turned towards On-jo.
"On-jo."
"I-sak."
They slowly walked towards each other, On-jo grasped I-sak's wrists as the girl shook her head in denial, "No, right? I'm not like them, right?" On-jo teared up, nodding slowly before embracing her friend, who pushed her away gently. "No. I'm not one of them." On-jo embraced her again.
"What are you guys doing? Get her out of here!" Na-yeon urged loudly, causing the zombies to start thrashing at the window again. "Get her out now!"
"Stop yelling, stupid," Yu-Jin walked towards her.
