YEP. THIS IS STILL HELL.

━━━━━━━━━━━━

Warm sunlight and loud snarling.

Kang Yu-Jin grimaced in disgust. She thought heaven would feel... and sound... more like you know...

Heaven.

She found herself opening her eyes, which she instantly regretted as the sun shined in her face. Groaning, she rolled over and her eyes widened again. Aren't I supposed to be dead? she thought to herself. She winced as multiple sounds invaded her mind instantly; snarling, footsteps, murmurs, screams, blood dripping, a clock ticking, a kettle boiling.

She was laying on grass and Yu-Jin looked at her hand, where Finn had bit into her wrist. It wasn't as bloody as before. All the blood had dried up around healed skin. A frown set on her face as she sat up properly. Yu-Jin physically jumped upon seeing a zombie walk right past her. She was on her feet again, looking at her surroundings. She had landed on the football fields, right near the front of the school near the cement walkway.

Speaking of where she had landed, the back of Yu-Jin's head was throbbing. When she reached back with her hand, the pain worsened as her hand made contact with her head. Though, when she drew her hand back, there was no blood on her hand. Yu-Jin's brow furrowed, jumping again when she bumped into a zombified girl, eyes widening upon seeing who it was.

Yoon I-sak.

Yu-Jin shakily reached out, grabbing her by the shoulders. She looked terrible and it was almost as though Yu-Jin was invisible as zombie I-sak thrashed around, biting at the air. When Yu-Jin let go of her, she simply continued to trudge forward. Yu-Jin, now fully aware of her surroundings, took one last panoramic sweep of where she was, and her breath hitched.

So many students.

So many zombies.

"Well, fuck me," Yu-Jin put her hands on her hips, looking around as she prodded a zombie with her foot. It stumbled, whipping it's head around as if trying to find out who shoved him, and the culprit was right in front of him, cat eyes crinkling as a smirk graced her lips. She spaced out though as an overwhelming scent invaded her senses, the same one she had inhaled when she... when she...

When she was being hugged by a girl in a pink cardigan.

What was her name? It was on the tip of her tongue, she could practically feel what her name would sound like. It was right there, just waiting to slip from her lips. Yu-Jin sighed, glancing around her. She took off her blazer, removing the name-tag and shoving it into her pocket, finding zombie I-sak and tying it around her. The zombie in question whirled around, snarling at the air as if Yu-Jin wasn't there at all. She looked at her handiwork, smiling before patting her on the head and walking towards the school.

Yu-Jin's shoes made contact with dusty and partially blood-stained floors of the ground floor of the school. She nearly slipped, but she shot upright when the scent returned again. Yu-Jin followed it towards the staircase and she walked up the stairs to the next floor, finding a hallway full of zombies that didn't react upon her arrival. She followed it to a door and she knocked on it, "Housekeeping."
