HYEON-JU

Yu-Jin snuck out the next morning, getting home in a matter of minutes. Thankfully, her dad had already left for work and Gwi-nam had also left for school at such an early hour. He had taken her younger brother with him, which she was more than thankful for as she enjoyed a peaceful shower in the empty apartment, taking her time getting dressed considering the fact that the stitched wound on her stomach was still fresh and could open up again at any moment.
Also, she cut her hair.
Well, not really. She had Hee-Jin come over.
It looked great, and it actually complimented the healing cut on her cheek. Hee-Jin walked into the bathroom, smiling at the Kang girl. She rested her elbow on her shoulder, running a hand through Yu-Jin's hair, "I'm proud of what I did with your hair."
"Thanks for this, by the way," Yu-Jin nodded, messing with her hair.
"Anytime, Kang. Now, let's get you to school, hm?"
Yu-Jin rolled her eyes at her tone, sighing as her hand touched the cut on her cheek. She felt Hee-Jin put something in the pocket of her school pants, and she pulled it out, "Seriously?"
"Yes. Seriously," the older girl huffed, crossing her arms. "Hiro told you to keep it on you just in case you got jumped, but no, you left it at home."
"I was on a jog," Yu-Jin reasoned with a shrug.
"Yeah. You almost bled out," Hee-Jin glared at her, pushing herself up off of the sink. "Let's go. Can't have the star basketball player being late to school, can we?" The older girl walked away. Yu-Jin cast her gaze to the ceiling of the bathroom before turning back around to the mirror. She slowly lifted up her uniform shirt, discovering the stitched up cut that went diagonally upwards on the left side of her stomach. She winced as she trailed a finger across it, lowering her shirt and proceeding to walk to school with Hee-Jin.
They talked as they walked, and the pair were so engrossed in their conversation that Yu-Jin didn't hear Lee Na-yeon call her name as they walked past her.

Gyeong-Su couldn't prevent his smile from growing any wider as he watched Ho-Sung pull up to the front of his building in his car. The senior put the window down with a smile, telling the boy to get in whilst waving a plastic container in the air, "I got fried chicken from your friend, Cheong-san. He has a restaurant named after him."
"I know! I'm trying to convince him to invite me around sometime," The younger boy practically sprinted towards his car, hopping in the passenger's seat and excitedly grabbing the container from him. He opened the lid and the smell of freshly fried chicken filled the air in the front of the car, both boys inhaling deeply, "Ah, their chicken is so good!" Ho-Sung handed him a plastic fork before beginning to drive again. As they neared the school, Gyeong-Su poked the fork into another piece of chicken, holding it to Ho-Sung's mouth. The older boy frowned and moved his head away, focusing on the road ahead. "Yah! Eat it!"
