Persephone hovered at the door to the facility waiting for it to open, Fury stood beside her huffing at the small wait. The door finally popped open and Tony Stark stood waiting for them. With no introduction he turned and walked away, Fury snorted and followed.
"Come on Percy, Stark will just keep walking without us" he muttered.
They found him at a lift waiting for them and rolling his eyes.
"Keep going Stark and I'll let Percy here give you a smack down" Fury growled out.
"Percy?" Smirked Tony.
"It's short for Persephone you dick" you snorted and Tony just smiled.
"I like her Fury" he laughed and you rolled your eyes.
The lift dinged and you all stepped out.
"This way to the conference room, there's not many of us here to meet you unfortunately. Your intel proved good so we're missing Natasha, Bucky, Steve, Rhoads, Sam and Thor, but Wanda and Vis and myself were left to greet you, also Bruce is downstairs in the lab". Said Tony.
"Some greeting" you muttered, Fury smirked at you.
"Percy this is Wanda and Vis" you stepped into the room and headed to a lovely looking red head, holding out your hand you gave a small hello to both people.
"We're so glad you came, it must have been very hard to stay on the run for as long as you have" said Wanda with compassion in her eyes.
"Percy, I'm very happy to meet you," said Vision, holding out his hand to you.
Shaking it you didn't know what to expect from his red skin, it was smooth and warm but plastic looking.
"Huh vibranium synthodroid, interesting" you say.
"That's correct" Vision smiles at you.
"Well Stark I'll leave you to it to get Persephone setup then, call me if he gives you any problems Percy" said Fury who left as quick as he came.
"Persephone is a beautiful name, goddess of the underworld wasn't she?" asked Vis.
"Eh yes death and rebirth I think, it's probably why hydra named me it" you said with a bit of sarcasm.
"What do you mean?" asked Wanda looking confused.
You sighed not wanting to explain your awful name.
"I think Percy is talking about the story of Persephone being abducted, tortured and only being released now and again," said Vis.
"Yes it's a lovely name with lots of hidden meanings behind it, fortunately for you I'm not really in the mood to explain them all but thanks for bringing it up for me" you snapped.
Damn it you thought cool it, you have just joined these people and you're already biting their heads off. Heaving a sigh you look back at 3 shocked faces.
"I'm sorry, my name is a touchy subject for me. It's why I chose to go by Percy so if you wouldn't mind passing that along to the others when they return I would be very grateful" you managed a small smile after your little speech.
"Listen no hard feelings kid, we've all got stuff in our pasts here and most of us don't like to share either so don't worry about it ok" said Tony with a smug face.
"You do realise I'm not a kid right? I've probably got 40 years on you Tony" Tony's mouth popped open.
"What do you mean 40 years? How old are you? He looked like he was in shock.
" Damn you Fury, he was supposed to fill you guys in so I wouldn't have to go through this" you were getting angry again.
"Look I'll explain later if you don't mind, right now I would really like to sleep especially after travelling for over 12 hours to get here ok" Tony nodded at you and Wanda got up.
