Bucky went to find Wanda, he wanted to know what she showed Percy and maybe talk to her about how she put Percy in danger. Knocking on her door Vis opened it with a smile.
"James, it's nice to see you" he gives a curt nod.
"Vis I've told you before, you can call me Bucky" he smiles and steps into the room.
"Hello Bucky, I can feel your questions" Wanda smiles and points to a chair for him to sit.
"Tell me, tell me everything" he breaths out.
"I'll tell you what I can, there are some things that are hers to tell" he nods in understanding.
"Can I ask you something first?" he frowns but nods.
"Why do you think you don't deserve her love. I've helped pull out all your memories of her and you still can't let her in" she stares hard at him.
"Exactly, you of all people know everything about us. Everything I did as the solider to her" Wanda holds up her hand, she had heard all this before.
"What specifically is stopping you?" she searches his eyes and gasps.
He projects his thoughts loudly and she see's the thing that is crushing his spirit and love for Percy. A moment in time that the solider saw in her eyes. He saw fear, fear of him as he comes to her for his supposed help and it breaks him.
"Your wrong" he looks up in surprise.
"What?" he growls out, he knows what he saw in Percy's eye's.
"Your wrong, that fear that you see, that you cling to. It was never about her fearing you, it was for you" she watches him take it in, doubt still shining in his eyes.
"She feared that the man behind the solider was gone. She feared you would never love her. That fear was all for you" his eyes gleam and a weight feels lifted.
"I want you to feel something that I got from Percy, from the first time I entered her mind" she holds out her hand waiting, he takes it gently.
She floods him with the light and love that all came from her sister. It rolls through him like a tidal wave, filling him up. Joy, pure and unfiltered radiates from him. Tears stream over his cheeks, he hadn't felt like this in a long time, he almost felt normal. He had a glimpse of it when he had fucked Percy but never let himself hold onto it. But now he couldn't hide from it, from her any longer.
"You need to talk to her Bucky but be warned she is...angry and afraid. Doubt is covering her soul now, doubts about you and her life here. But you need to tell her and fill her with your love" he nods and stand up.
"I'll find her now...Thank you Wanda" he leaves the woman quietly.
"FRIDAY is Percy still in medical?" he waits patiently for an answer.
"Percy is in her room now" he storms for the lift to Percy's floor.
No other thought enters his head, other than to get to Percy. She needs him as he needs her. A life he always denied himself is now a shining possibility with her.
She walks around her room in circles, a million thoughts passing through her head. Should she tell him? Would he be happy? or would he become even more cold towards her. The one night she had all of him they had created a life. She stands before her mirror holding up her shirt. Checking for any change, realistically she knew there was nothing to see but hope was a fickle thing. She spins lowering her shirt as a knock at the door startles her.
"Come in" the door opens and she gapes at Bucky.
He stands hudled waiting to see if she will let him enter.
