"Shiv... I... I can't take it anymore; it hurts so bad" I sobbed badly.
My family was on one side, the rest of the world on another.
But I am getting tired of all the taunts redirecting me and my weight.
I love my chubby cheeks and even concluded that my height wasn't going to increase no matter how much milk I drank!
I love myself but... I come back to this breaking point once in a while.
"Rai, you know na, exams are coming, I mean, these people are there only for a while now. You can change your school after 10th. Why take tension when Shiv your friend!" Shivanshika tried to talk in a cheery voice.
Honestly, she wasn't in a better state than mine.
She had been picked on, in school by some of her batchmates, she told me multiple times.
But she was stronger than. That's what I feel.
"Why don't you join my school? We both would have friends and you don't have to worry about new friends then? Hmm?" she tried to pacify me with her broken voice.
I sighed. My tears dried some time ago, but still, my throat felt heavy.
Exams, future, career, job, family.
Everything seems so heavy now.
Life is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but it's only those moments when everything is forgotten and we are only happy. Otherwise, pain is constant.
I sighed when I heard her still sobbing.
"What happened Shiv?" I asked her.
"I got beaten today," she said in a shaky voice.
"WHAT!" I shouted out loud, not caring, that I was in my room and it was past 11 pm.
"There's this *sniff* bitch in my class, she wanted to push me down today and..." she began crying badly after that.
"aNd?" my voice shivered with possibilities.
She sniffed her nose and continued, "and I turned at right moment"
A relaxed sigh released from my system.
"But that bitch fell instead and in front of her crush. So after school, she and her friends...
You know what... I'm just tired. I'll not go tomorrow, heal properly and write my exams.
