Raina Khurana pov
If my head were at a normal angle, then I looked 90 degrees above, if my head was dropped down, then it made 180 degrees above.
My neck was straining at this point but I couldn't take off the position I was in. It was a moment; I don't know what to name it but it was different.
Like the piano, black and white keys played together, I was surprised and anxious at the same time.
"You need this shorty?" his voice cracked a bit while asking.
"Yes, why else would I struggle for it?!" I snapped.
"So, you struggle for something you want?" he smirked and stepped back and I was glad for it.
"Isn't it obvious!" my voice raised by an octave.
The creepy looks of students in my class, already high expectations from teachers plus Sherlyn was killing me with a headache.
Plus, this tall guy holding the file I needed wasn't helping at all.
But looking at him from top to bottom, almost like checking him out, I see he has some bruises over his arms.
I could see because he had folded his sleeves till elbow.
"Like what you see?" His voice was coarse, almost unattractive. Plus, his dishevelled state was not giving him any brownie points.
"Nope" I extended my hand out after I gave my answer.
"No? Are you crazy? Girls die for this!" he shouted and again his voice was shaky.
"I'm crazy, give me the file," I asked again.
"Okay, pagal (crazy), that's what I'll call you now, unmatt (maniac)" his smirk is fully blown now.
"Brave of you for someone with a surtili taal (melodious voice)" I mocked him.
He chuckled and pushed the file back at me with a force I almost didn't expect resulting in me being pushed at the cupboard behind me.
"WHATS GOING ON HERE AYUSH!" Rupa ma'am came just in time.
"I didn't do anything! She didn't-" this boy didn't get time to complete and she shushed him.
"I just came back from principal after hearing you got into a fight with 11 C boys, do you think it's a joke! Choking people and getting choked back?!" she shouted
Now I understand why his voice is cracked.
I glanced at the wall clock and realised that buses must have left by now, and as the driver uncle doesn't know about me yet, he must have left too.
I sighed and pushed out of the cupboard.
"He didn't do anything ma'am; I lost my balance" I covered.
Why? I don't know.
