Raina Khurrana pov

It's been a week since I began attending this school, and along with everything going smooth in school, I've buried myself in books at home.

Staying up late at night and then the next day again school was getting into me already. I guess I should have started studying during summer break itself...

Those three boys and I have a peaceful way back home.

I'm glad that Ayush doesn't behave like bipolar outside and inside the school.

He's the same everywhere.

After our meeting in the shopping mall, we met once again outside school because our fathers wanted to have a hangout.

They realised they live nearby at a walking distance, their children are in the same school, acquainted with each other, and come on the same bus.

The happiness on our mothers' faces was utterly glossy.

I know they even plan on hanging out more since they bonded together.

I didn't go after that once, and stayed back home to study.

I don't know what happens there as Archu di doesn't go sometimes as well, as she gets bored and Ayush... I didn't ask how he feels about it.

And I have a feeling that he is hiding something from me ever since he knows my family...

Keeping my thoughts of Ayush at bay, I read the next question in the physics textbook.

"Opposites attract... connected from far... infinitely push and pull" I groaned reading those words.

My mind is going haywire!

I can't think of anything but a dude who is tall, has beautiful eyes and a melodious voice.

I pushed my head back against the chair for a break.

'This won't work. I have exams right after Jyoti Bua's wedding! If I don't perform well, I won't get into section A!'

Motivating myself, I opened the book again and read through the pages.

Hours passed by like seconds and it was already dinner time.

At the table, we all sat in our usual places and served ourselves.

"Yuvraj was saying that he and his family wanted to come to our home sometime, I too feel we should host now, Bhabhi has called us to their home many times now," papa said.

Mumma looked at him silently and nodded.

"What about Raina's studies though? She would be disturbed if anyone comes, '' Mumma pointed out.

"She can study in the top floor room right, Ro?" papa asked me with his pleading eyes, that melted my heart to deny his request.

"Alright, I'll go upstairs and study there, but I want my snacks and drinks with it, I don't wanna come down again and again," I said pouting.
