Chapter 13

Legolas pov

As soon as I was taken out of the tent, they took hold of my head and put a cloth over my nose and I held my breath until I no longer could and I felt my vision go dark. the last thing that flashed through my mind was Val's tear stained face as I was being chocked to death with magic and her screaming out for him to stop.

Val's pov

As soon as they took legolas, the king sat back in his throne.

V- what do you want with me anyway?
K- you have very special powers. I would like to use those powers to win a war.
V- a war with who?
K- the elves. the age of the Orc has come and the time of the elves are over.
V- I would never fight my own people.
K- well you agreed and I honored your terms so you have no choice but to do as I ask. you can't escape either for I will know where you are and have an eye on you at all times. I will wage war on the elves and eventually the rest of middle earth.
V- you are disgusting.

He smirked and motioned for me to follow him which I refused and he then he used magic to make me go toward me.

He walked out and yelled at all the orcs.

K- we move in ten minutes! We head to my castle north!

I was put in a steel cage that was pulled with wargs and I sat there. this was going to be a long trip.

Legolas pov

I opened my eyes and saw that I was propped up against a tree and recognized it as the entrance into mirkwood by the elven branches making an archway and meeting at the top. I looked into the distant night and saw no orcs or any sign of a camp. I was knocked out the entire ride so I couldn't tell how long it was or even any landmarks on where I was before. I started into the forest and stayed on the elven path for if you leave it then you will never find it again.

After about two hours of walking, a search party found me and ok me back to my fathers court.

Ta- tauriel

T- Legolas! I'm so glad your safe.

My father hugged me and took a leaf out of my hair.

T- where is lady val?
L- she made a deal for my freedom with the king of Agmaur.
T- what? She must be found! Where were you being held hostage?
L- it was a camp not thy it had been there long but they knocked me out for the trip there and back so I couldn't tell how far it was and it was just baren.
T- they can't be far.
L- I doubt that they are still there. they came for one thing and that was Val.

He agreed and I retired to my chambers to rest. I thought about how scare she must be and how strong she must look right now.
"I promise val, I will find you" I whisper to myself.

Val pov

It was probably a bad idea but I fell asleep on the way there and I was awoken by the Orc driving the cage.

"Wake up she-elf!" He said hitting the cage and unlocked it to let me out.

I looked around and saw giant doors behind us and a big room in frog of me that had hallways leading in different directions. I start walking in and I hear the most unexpected voice ever.

A- ah so he did retrieve you.

I turned and it was the cockroach prince adeth.

V- you were in on this!
A- yes, who do you think, set the bomb in the party room to let the orcs in?
V- YOU SWINE!

I screamed an I walked up and slapped him and went to do it again when he caught my hand, and looked mad. he bent y wrist back which I moved and flipped him over so he was now on the ground.

K- son, I told you not to anger her.
V- son?
K- yes, this is my son adeth.
V- you sicken me. both of you.
A- guessed that.

I started to walk away when the ointment grabbed my arm.

K- where do you think you are going?
V- anywhere away from you.
K- I have to start training you
V- what training?
K- you have great potential but you need to learn to control your powers.

He motioned me into this giant library and picked a book off the shelf and opened it to a bookmark.

K- you are the first and last of your kind. a tear from a mermaid is hard enough. but a royal child, and the last mermaid? That is just asking for trouble. you know what? Your father knew the danger but your mother had to be healed. THEY PUT YOU IN DANGER! THEY NEVER CARED ABOUT YOU!

At that point I lost it I felt hot energy in my hands and I screamed and red energy flew around me and knocked him off his feet and I couldn't control my anger. Is this what I am capable of?
