Chapter 14

Val's pov

Over the next two years, he taught me things and eventually, I came to the point where I could probably take him down myself but my mind was hazy like I couldn't remember anyone but the war that was coming. I eventually realized that I didn't know who my parents were and I had no idea if I had siblings though the last person in my mind to disappear was legolas. his beautiful long hair and piercing blue eyes filled me with happiness but his image slowly melted into nothing and my world went black around me.

Legolas pov

It has been two years since she was taken and still I have no idea where she is. I have gone on many searches and quests to find her but all end with me in the same place. I still will not give up on her. Suddenly a urgent messenger runs up to me with an arrow in his arm and bleeding a lot.

"Sir, we have found a Orc camp just north but I returned just in time." he said and the healers took him.

I rallied the troops and I went to attack the Orc camp. upon arriving, I rampaged the camp and defrosted everything. I found the leader and took him to the side with a knife at his throat.

"Filth, where is Princess val?" I asked

"It is no use, princling. by the time you reach her, she will have no memory of you" he said while laughing.

I dug the knife into his arm and he screeched.

"Answer the question!"

"I would never betray my master!"

"WHERE IS SHE!!!" I yelled once more but he refused once again.

I cut his throat and let his body drop at my feet which I left there.

"My lord, where do we go?" My guard asked.

"I do not know. no leads" I replied and we set back to the palace.

Time skip ( two weeks)
Legolas pov

We prepare for battle. The orcs of the easy have united under one flag and in large numbers. Gundabad is very close and several scouts say they were preparing for war and heading toward us. I hop val is with them. I never got the words out of my head on how she would not recognize me. I loaded my quiver with arrows and rode out to meet the armies on my horse.

As I neared the front of the army, I saw at the front of theirs, was a young woman with black hair and a flaming red dress. Val. she has changed and not for the better. She had an almost muffled appearance like she didn't know what was going on only for a split second.

"Come prince Legolas and discuss terms!" The king of Agmaur yelled across the field.

I started walking forward and he sent Val as his representative. I saw her with the dress flowing behind her and I thought that he doesn't remember me?

"The orcs demand that you surrender" she says as we reach the middle.

"Val, what are doing?"
"I am asking you to surrender, princeling "

Once those words came out of her mouth, I felt my heart shatter.

"We will not surrender. What has gotten into to you Val?who have you become?"

"I am Valerie, of Agmaur"
