Now that Caleb and I are back together, we were running along side each other with Mary.

"You know..."
She started between breaths.
"I was thinking of how much our lives are based on romance."
I laughed.
"Yeah, but you don't like anybody."
I continued, as I noticed S
she didn't answer. I stopped in my tracks.

"You like somebody!"
I said excitedly.
"Haha!"
Caleb yelled happily.
"No, I don't!"
"Your really bad at telling the truth you know. We all see your blushing!"
I protested, pointing at her cheeks.

"Ok! Just one person... But! I don't think he likes me back."
Mary said sadly. I smiled, as we all started to run again.

"When we are done here you're telling me who you like!"
I said, watching as she doesn't answer.

When we got to the spot, Sofie had already started some stitching. She also had her whip out.
"Sofie! What in Hades is that!?"
I yelled.

It was a 20 foot tall giant with fire breath, and ten inch fangs. With also a little flaming club... I guess to put a little flare into it.
"I just summoned something that my dad-"
Sofie began, but we had to dodge fire breath.
"That my dad wanted, and I was about to get you, but it looked like you were too busy with Caleb!"
Sofie shouted. I covered my face with my hands again.
"Ok! That was personal!"
I said. Covering my cheeks this time, not wanting anyone to see the color.
"Guys now is not the time for-"
Mary got interrupted by a flaming club that we had to dodge.
"For talking about Skyla's love life! How do you kill it?!"
Mary asked.
"Well, it's obvious that it's a fire giant."
I said.
"Well duh!"
Sofie yelled angrily.
"Oh sorry, I don't think well when I'm embarrassed!"
I yelled.
"Ok that's it! You can only kill it with powers. No weapons."
Mary blurted.

We all looked at her shocked.
"What? I can know stuff too!"
She said.
"Yeah, but you said you didn't know how to kill it."
I said confused, as she doesn't speak.
"You know what, forget it. Caleb you go first, Mary goes second, I go third, and Skyla you get the last bite."
Sofie demands. We all nodded and went to work.

Caleb went to a corner.
"Hey ugly!"
He yelled. He started rubbing his hands together, and light started coming through them.
"Come on... Come on."
He whispered, as he giant lifted his club.
"Caleb hurry!"
I shouted nervously.
"Come on!"
I heard him shout, as he rubbed his hands faster.

The giant brings his hand down, but just before he hits Caleb, he shouts,
"Got it!"
He opened his hands and shot sunlight at the giant. The giant screamed and shook his head, backing up.

"Mary go!"
Sofie ordered. Mary nodded sadly, and she twirled her hands. A light purple ball started forming in the middle. My eyes widened at the sight of her.
"Mary? Why are you crying!?"
I asked, seeing tears slowly start to build. I needed to know why, but now wasn't the time.

The ball suddenly turned into fire, unexpectedly.
"Mary!"
I yelled worryingly. It wasn't supposed to do that. How is she doing that? She's never done that before.

The ball suddenly turns into lava. What? She shot at the giant, who screamed and was now half burned. The giant roars with fury, as his cracks. A large crack In the ground formed underneath out feet, as I catch of glimpse of Mary running away.

"Wait I don't have a power!"
Sofie blurted sadly.
"I'll go!"
I yelled, closing my eyes and thought of good thoughts.

I Started to glow, and lift into the air. Caleb and Sofie watched in astonishment. I could tell Caleb wasted all his energy on the bolt of sunlight. His shirt was drenched in sweat and his eyes drooped.
White balls formed on my hands, as my head spun. I screamed, as I shot bolts of energy from my hands and directly onto the giant.
