I felt bad just leaving Dean and Cas sitting there so I went back out to find the place deserted. I checked the rooms but both Cas and Dean were missing. I took this as my chance to check the records for a way to translate the Book of the Damned.

Dean thought I had burned it but I burnt another and kept it. I had contacted Rowena for some help deciding what I had to do. I felt bad lying to Dean but I had to get that rid of the Mark before it took away the only family I have left.

I found a book with some similar markings on it and took it to my room. There was probably twenty similar books already in there but none had helped me translate the Books cryptic language.

I grabbed the Book out from under my bed and out of its protective case that kept anyone from being able to find it, including Dean. Since Dean could sense the book from miles away I had to keep it in the box as long as Dean was in the bunker. I opened the book I brought with me and attempted to decode the Book.

(Dean's POV)

Cas said nothing the entire way back to the bunker. As we neared the entrance to the garage I got a bad but familiar feeling in my gut that made me slam on the brakes. Cas, who was riding shot gun looked at me in surprise.

"What is it Dean?" He asked truly concerned.

"I think Sam is reading the book." The feeling in my gut was telling me to kill Cas for saying anything. i began to drive again. I hoped Sam would hear us and put the book away before I got to his room.

Cas was staring at me as I parked the car. God he was cute when he worried about me. Shit what was I doing I'm supposed to be pissed at him.

We got out of the car and walked into the room I took care to make as much noise as possible. I slammed the door to the garage and stomped as I walked a crossed the floor. Sam must have heard me since the feeling in my stomach stopped and I could finally breathe.

Sam emerged from his room. "Where were you guys?" He asked.

"We went out," I replied opening a beer. "I haven't left in a while and I thought I'd go out. I thought you were sleeping so I didn't want to bother you."

"Where did you go. The bar?"

"Yeah," Cas answered. I was really glad he was here to keep me level. "I'm going to go lie down for a bit. My grace hasn't truly kicked in yet."

He walked out and I could feel the void he left after he was gone. It was like there was a hole in my heart.

"Well I'm going to go to bed too," Sam said as he turned to go to his room again.

"No stay. Don't make a man drink alone."

He sat down and I handed him a beer. I sent Cas a silent prayer to take care of the book.

"So," Sam said awkwardly. "Anything major happen today that I don't know about."

"No," I lied. "Why?"

"Just didn't realize you and Cas were so close."

"We're not. I just wanted some fresh air and he asked to come along."

"Oh. Sorry."

"Anything crazy happen while I was gone?"

"No just me and my thoughts."

We sat in silence after that. I don't like lying to him but I couldn't tell him I was distracting him so Cas could find and destroy the Book of the Damned. The only other thing he didn't know about was the fact that I had kissed Cas and there's no way I was going to have that talk with my brother before I talked to Cas about it.

I felt that pain in my stomach again. Cas must of found the book. I sent him a quick prayer to take it away and burn it. And almost immediately the pain left my stomach.

(Cas' POV)

I left Dean and Sam saying I needed to lie down and waited for Dean to let me know he would keep Sam occupied while I searched his room for the book. I received his prayer five minuets later.

I went into Sam's room. At least twenty books with different languages on them were lying around but there was no sign of the Book of the Damned.

I got down on my knees and looked under the bed and there is was in a black box. I removed the book. It's power was strong. I could feel it compelling me to do things. I heard Dean's voice in my head telling me to destroy it. I flew out of the room to a small field just a few miles away.

There I laid the book on the ground. I was about to light it on fire when I heard someone coming my way from the bushes.
