"Well, do you have the book?" Rowena asked as I sat down. We were in the back of the bar where the lights are low and you couldn't see us from the door.
"No. It's gone," I replied. "We need a new plan."
"A new plan! It's the Mark of Cain, not a tattoo."
"Look. The book is gone we need a new plan asap."
"There is no other way a least none that doesn't end with him dead, but I suppose that is not part of our deal."
"Then I no longer require your help." I stood up and left the bar. The ride back to the bunker was a long one. Without that book there is no way I could save Dean. What was I going to do?
(Dean's POV)
Cas and I were driving in search of Chuck. I drove as Cas gave me directions to a field just three miles from the bunker.
"Here," he said. I parked the car and we got out.
"Where do we go from here?" I asked looking at the empty space. No Chuck in sight.
"I have to go alone," he said. "I need to find him on my own."
I looked at him. I really wanted to be with him. He shouldn't have to go alone. "Are you sure?"
"Yes." He walked away. I grabbed his arm, spinning him around. His eyebrows raised in surprise.
"Be safe," I said leaning in closer. "I can't lose you yet." I placed a small kiss on his lips. After only a moment I pulled away. He moved out of my reach and walked away. He was so cute. Wait....what?
