"What do you think you're doing here?" Katsuki shouted, rushing over to swat Ochaco out of the way. "I told you specifically: If you enter this room, I will end you."
Ochaco just rolled her eyes. "If you end me, there will be war."
Katsuki glared back at her, red eyes practically glowing. "Get. Out."
Ochaco seemed to get the message as she hmphed and walked out of the room with her servants trailing after her.
"Are you alright?" Katsuki asked gently, placing his hands on Izuku's hollow cheek. "She won't be bothering you anymore. It won't happen again."
Izuku snuggled into his hand. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just don't don't feel that great."
Katsuki perked up. "Oh, that reminds me. Do you think you can eat something?"
Once again, the thought of food made him nauseous, but even he knew he needed to eat something.
"Did you have something prepared?" Izuku asked, not wanting to eat anything grand at the moment.
Katsuki shook his head. "Whatever you want to eat, Deku."
"Remember those berries you used to sneak me when we were kids, Kacchan?" Izuku asked, hoping that Katsuki would know exactly what he was talking about.
Fortunately, he did.
"Oh!" Katsuki shouted in recognition. "I'll be right back, Deku."
Izuku sighed as Katsuki scurried out of the room in a hurry. He smiled slightly to himself. How lucky he was to have Katsuki. But he felt dread in the pit of his stomach.
Izuku flinched as he looked at the room to his door. Katsuki wouldn't be here for a while. He knew he couldn't get rid of it...but then again, maybe he could.
He stood up slowly, stumbling a little as he made his way to the bathroom door. He could do this.

Shoto slammed his fist harshly on the table. "Prepare for war."
"You're overruled, Prince," an advisor said, giving a sheepish grin and scratching the back of his neck.
Shoto's harsh glare met his scared eyes. "By whom?!"
The advisor stuttered under Shoto's wicked glare. "B-By the p-princess and higher prince, S-Sir."
Shoto scowled. "Well, what about mother? Father? Touya?"
"I'll go ask them now, Sire," the advisor said, rushing out of Shoto's dirty room with his clipboard in hand.
Shoto scowled. "Idiots, all idiots! How can none of you do anything right?!"
He heard a small laugh from across from him. It was his sister.
"You are piteous, brother," she said. "That omega... through war--through death--he will never be yours again. He has a devotion to his alpha that I have never seen before, and his alpha loves him more than the world. You don't have a chance, brother."
Shoto trembled with anger. "I am his alpha!"
"No, no you're not," Fuyumi said calmly. "Shoto, please. See reason. Why are you so obsessed? You do not even love that man."
Shoto scowled, "You do not understand, do you, Fuyumi? That rat is going to ruin our kingdom's name! We were going to be an empire at the rate in which we were expanding! Now, we must slow everything because of that damned omega."
Fuyumi's expression went cold as she glared at her brother. "It is your misconduct that is slowing as down. Our kingdom cannot be an empire. Not now, not ever. Do you wish to know why?"
"Because of that omega--" Shoto growled, but he was cut off.
"Because of our people. Yes, you are the current heir to the thrown, despite you having an older alphan brother. You take your job seriously, and there is no problem with that. However, you advance nowhere in life if your own people despise you, Shoto," Fuyumi stated coldly. "The common folk do not agree with many, many of your decisions. Most want change with the kingdom's system on second genders. It's time you move on, Shoto."
Having said this, Fuyumi walked out of his chambers, her heels clacking ominously as she walked.
Shoto's eye twitched. Who does she think she is? Speaking to an alpha in such a way. She was a mere beta. Nobody special. He growled as he threw a--very expensive--vase across the room and shattering it.
No, she's wrong, he thought. She doesn't know anything. Anything.

Katsuki chose every berry himself. It was important to. He wants only the best for his omega. He remembered when they were kids--well, more like teenagers. They would run into this garden late, late at night to eat some of these berries. Katsuki would suggest that it was too late for Izuku to go home alone, and that he should stay here. Katsuki remembered even though it was dark outside, the red on his cheeks showed brightly every time.
He smiled to himself. Oh, how he would kill to go back and relive that moment. But he shook that thought away. Right now, he needed to help Izuku get back to his equilibrium. The Izuku he saw right now was...not him. He would do anything for Izuku to be himself again.
As he knocked on Izuku's door, he heard a clang and a shaky, "W-Wait one m-minute!"
Izuku didn't know what caused him to do it--no, he did know---but it was so sudden. One second he was holding the blade in his hand, and the next he was pressing it harshly against his neck.
"Deku, are you okay?" Katsuki asked, opening the door to his bedroom slowly. He didn't enter, but there was a harsh and sour scent leaking out of the door. "What's wrong?"
And then he saw it, the blood on the ground and the pieces of pale flesh. Katsuki covered his nose. "Deku, what are you doing?!"
He rushed into the bathroom, eyes frantic as he saw a large chunk of Izuku's neck...gone. Gone.
Katsuki didn't think twice as he ran over, inspecting the large wound. There was so much blood...He didn't know what to do.
"Why--What did you do?" he asked, grabbing a towel and trying to keep the blood from flowing anymore. Izuku hissed out in pain, but Katsuki kept applying some pressure. Things were just starting to get better. Izuku looked a little more lively; he had asked for food. He was trying, and now this? What even was this?
"I--I--It was bothering me..." Izuku stuttered, eyes growing wide as he just seemed to realize what he had just done with his own two hands. He dropped the blade, making a resounding cling. "I--I--don't know--It just--I--"
"Deku, stop. You--You don't have to explain. I shouldn't have asked so quickly. Just hand on a bit. I'm gonna grab the palace physician. Press this towel on it, okay? I don't want the blood loss to..."
He paused. He shouldn't leave him alone after this. Instead, he walked out of the bathroom carefully putting Izuku's hand on the towel. He yelled for assistance, and soon a maid came in asking what he needed.
A bitter taste filled the alpha's mouth when he realized it took this long for a maid or servant to help him because most of them were in the west wing now. With Ochaco. But he pushed the bad feeling aside. He needed to make sure Izuku was okay.
