"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow"

"Wait. What?!" Izuku giggled as he hears his mate explode, rushing up to catch him. But the green-haired omega refused to make it easy for him. He speeds up only a little, though he doesn't go much faster on purpose.
Katsuki seemed to take this as a good sign, so he rushed towards his mate at a rather alarming rate--seeing as he was in a weakened state. He collided with him quickly, colliding with the hard ground.
The blonde grunted from the impact, but a brilliant smile rested on his face when he heard Izuku giggling on top of him, face nuzzled into his chest. He looked up, peering at Katsuki with green doe eyes, and Katsuki found his heart clenching.
"Izuku!" Katsuki almost growled at the interrupted moment. This was one of the most influential moments for their relationship, communication, reunion, and announcement, yet here she was...
"Izuku!" Itsuka shouted again, and this time, Katsuki did growl, slinging a protective arm around his mate's waist. She paused at the scene, and her eyes narrowed.
"Izuku, you're supposed to be resting. I let you go on the mission because the scenting is supposed to relieve some of your sickness, but you need to rest now..."
Concern laced her tone, and Katsuki almost hit himself for being so stupid--missing the way she said, "let". Of course his mate would be feeling sick without him in his condition. He sighed as they both made moves to get up from the ground. Izuku brushed himself off, and Katsuki mirrored his movements.
"She's right," Katsuki said, and he swore that he saw Izuku pout.
"Fine," he said softly, but he looked at Katsuki with pleading eyes. "Could you stay with me?"
The alpha was about to agree when Itsuka prevented him from doing so. "Izuku, King Bakugou needs to face his people, along with telling them that he is alright. He must also be checked by the physician as well as the princess of Jotai. He has a lot to do."
Izuku sighed. "Yes, I suppose you're right." And Katsuki had to agree as well, looking at the simple maid with narrowed eyes. He was snapped out of his daze as a warm pair of arms embraced him. "Please, make sure to rest with me later."
As a last minute thought, Izuku added with a sly smile, "Ai is wonderful; I'm sure you'll like her, Kacchan. I love you."
Katsuki's confused state only lasted a second before repeating Izuku's confession. "I love you, too."
Itsuka bowed in front of Katsuki. "I'll take care of him personally," she said politely, scurrying away to catch up with the green-haired omega.
"Could you make sure Kacchan is alright after he visits Ai?" Izuku asked, still smiling gently as Itsuka walked by his side. He paced himself casually, and his tone was light. But Itsuka still understood his words.
She nodded. "Of course, Izuku," she replied, bowing her head as they entered his tent.
"And make sure Kacchan doesn't overwork on his first day back," he added, and once again, Itsuka nodded.
"I'll go grab you some tea. You should change," she stated in a hushed voice, excusing herself and going towards the camp's supply.
"You'll be okay," she said to herself softly, whispering as she took the clear vial from her boot. It was full of a pink liquid, and she gulped. If it worked for the queen, it'll work for this one, too. Her boyfriend was counting on her--her family, too. She could do this.
"But you'll be killing a pup, too," she sighed, holding the vial tightly. If it wasn't for that stupid baby. She thought that the small doses of infertile snacks would've done the trick, and yet Izuku rarely partook in those. He preferred berries and things from the palace gardens. She sighed again.
She popped the vial open slowly, pouring its pink contents into the light-brown tea. "No," she said, bracing herself, putting the cup into a wooden tray--it was nothing compared to the grandeur of the palace's supply, but it was what they had. "If I don't kill this pup, I'll never be able to get one."
Surely, even Katsuki Bakugou would understand that want of having a child? She nodded. Of course, she never considered herself stupid, but the alpha would have to at least acknowledge her motives as brave, right?
She walked back towards the tent, clearing her throat as a sign to tell Izuku she was here. When she heard a hum of approval, Itsuka walked in, holding the tray, smiling.
"Izuku--" she started to say, handing over his tea, when she felt a hard force ram into her back. She shrieked as an energetic red head barged into the tent with full force. The delicate tea spilled over and splashed straight onto Izuku's newly changed clothing. Thankfully, it wasn't hot, rather warm.
Izuku growled lowly. "Eijiro Kirishima!" he shouted, and the alpha sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, stepping back out of the tent, but holding the flap open.
"Sorry, sorry!" he apologized. "It's just... Shoto's here. Like, here here."
That seemed to still the room, but Itsuka still cursed at the wasted poison. It would take weeks to get the same poison.
"And your alpha's feral."
