Y/N's P.O.V
The letter itself was sweet and precise with no heart shapes or other doodles to show me a little bit of his expression. Just like his stoic face, his words were cautiously chosen and at the right hand corner was a small apology for his sudden disappearance. Maybe the circumstances would have been upsetting if he had vanished without a trace but Kakashi was no fool; he had given me just enough information to have me remain calm and so I skipped towards the training ground with elated mood. It had only been five days since Kakashi and I disclosed each other's feelings. Three days since we were last intimate. A wonderful shiver ran down my spine recalling his urgency, desire and licentious gaze on me while I was in my bathrobe. The night ended up in a heated tango on our bed where Kakashi had once again ruled me. After that, he had to leave my vicinity carefully without being caught by prying eyes. We were not sure to reveal such sensitive information about our private lives and with both of our consents, we decided it was best for now to keep everything a secret.
Kakashi and I had very different yet similar reasons for that particular decision. I was concerned about Touchan suddenly knowing that I had ended up in a relationship with my team captain and my reputation among other shinobis was also a worrying matter. The last thing I wanted was people to think I was trying to gain favors from Kakashi by being his little minion. Naruto had difficulties keeping things to himself and maybe I was still apprehensive to expose our romantic partnership to the public, aware of lingering eyes that could take the opportunity to hurt us. Kakashi was mostly worried about Konoha's council interfering in his personal life once more, given that the council had arranged his marriage previously and even after that, they were privy of his everyday situation. On the other hand, he was not ready to deal with my father and his lectures, fearing I would be forced to resign his team and join the Anbu that would keep us apart. Thus, we both had reasonable doubts and worries about other's interference and decided it was best to keep it our surreptitious mission. Before he had went away for his mission, Kakashi had randomly told me that I was going to have a few training sessions with his squad- my first teacher being Genma.
