The Last She-Wolf

Chapter 4

Raymond's POV

Today I went to my office a little early as i had to go to that damned University to give a lecture. No, i don't hate Universities neither i hate giving lectures. What i hate are the eyes oogling at me. Those University girls asks those damn fucking questions that are none of their business. Shouldn't they just ask questions related to lecture and business? Then why the fuck they skip those and only shows interest about my personal life and preferences. Sometime i just want to tell them 'fuck off..i already have a mate waiting for me to claim her.' but i can't say that to those fucking human girls. I sighed in frustration and strode towards the seminar hall. This is the first time I came to this university. The dean almost begged me to come here. I wasn't going to agree to him but my wolf, Axel was being restless in my mind. He says he has a feeling that something good is going to happen. Or most likely we were going to meet our mate. And that made me jump on my mind and i agreed to the offer immediately.

As the door of the seminar hall opened, a sweet smell hit my nose. It was like sweet berries, and even if i say it is heavenly, it would be an understatement.

My eyes roam around the room. The door was in the backside of the hall and i could see every eye on me. But the one i was searching could be any of them. A second later i started to walk towards the front of the hall. As i went forward i realised that the sweet smell of berries were fading. That mean my mate was sitting at the back row.

I directly went towards dean, while ignoring Axel's protest. He wants me to go to our mate and claim her. He wants to be together with his mate. As i turned towards the crowd, my eyes again roamed around but this time at the back row, searching for that one pair of eyes that'll belong to my mate.

That's when my blue orbs get locked with a pair of hazel orbs already staring at me with shock. They were beautiful, shining with life and happiness and a hint of surprise. Axel was jumping in my mind shouting Mate!!! Matee!!! Ray we found our mateeeee!!!

Calm down buddy. We're in between humans. If we go to her right now, we might scare her. I said as i tried to calm him down. Though i wanted to do the same.

But we've wait too long to be away from her. Let's just go and claim her. Remember we came here for her in the first place? He said getting restless.

I know that buddy. But before we claim her, we need to explain everything to her. I said tried to reason with him.

You might not have to explain much. He said while giving me a wolfish grin.

What do you mean by that? I asked getting confused.

She too is a wolf dude. I can smell her. And i can tell you that she may be the last She-Wolf existing in this world. He said clearing my confusion. I gasped at that.

My mate is actually a wolf. And that is also the last She-Wolf.

I came out of my thoughts when i heard dean asking me to start my lecture.

The whole lecture i could feel many gazes oogling at me. But the one i paid attention to was looking at me with admiration?

I wonder how sweet her voice would sound.

While i maintained a cold exterior on my face. Inside my mind i was happy and excited and jumping together with Axel.

I just can't wait to meet my girl. The love of my life. Who is made only for me. My mate.
