Aaaand we're done!
This has been my first novel-length story and it took me a while to finish it. Also, it's the first time I actually did some research into structure (the 3 act structure in particular). I hope it showed.
I plan on entering it in the Wattys when it's that time of the year again. It'll be my first entry ever :D
I tried to subtly hint at some relationships in the story to make it a little more interesting. I didn't want to make it obvious, but maybe I did it too subtle. In any case, whether it was clear or not, I'll tell you here:
- The mage the trio visited is Bailey's father.
- Bailey and the queen are Finn's parents.
I came to the conclusion I can still use a lot of practice with this whole writing thing. Luckily I enjoy the process (most of the time).
Lastly, thank you for not only reading the story as well as this last note. Perhaps I'll see you in the next one :)
