(Y/Ns POV)
4 months had passed and i had received a letter from Kagaya Ubuyashiki, i think that was his name. But i was asked if i could be a Hashira. I agreed, Lani was a bit jealous.
"Y/N!!! Its because you got more missions than me" lani whined
"No. I think it's because i killed a Lower rank 6 demon so effortlessly on one mission" i say with a small shrug
"Or it could be that too" Lani says.
"Well i should get going. I know you will end up with a mission soon Lani, you will rise ranks easily Lani. Im sure of it." I say
Lani smiles "Yeah. I think i will too. You will come back later right?"
"I plan on it. Alright, well ill be on my way. Good bye Lani"
"Good bye, Y/N!"
I smile a small bit and start walking away. Father was currently busy so, I didn't get to say goodbye too him. But something felt wrong as i walked away from my home.
I force myself to get rid of this feeling that something might go wrong. It was currently sunny out, so no demons were around which was a good thing. Right?
(Lani's POV)
I watched Y/N walk away into the distance. I smiled
"im proud of them. I feel like i am truly related to them" She says smiling. Her smile fades as she looks at the forest. Something was wrong. But what was it?
(3rd person POV)
Y/N walked further away and out of sight of Lani. (Y/F/N[your dads name]) stood behind a tree with a man with him.
"(Y/F/N)" says the man
"Huh?"
"Your Child, Y/N, she has rised ranks so easily. She could have done it faster"
"I know. They are lucky i even handed her that sword that day"
"Are they?"
"Yes. I regret listening to your words that day"
"Why is that"
"I wanted to protect Y/N. They shouldn't have a death that their mother experienced."
"They wont die. Instead they might be more free this way."
"Will they?"
"Yes they will be ,(Y/F/N)"
"After i die you will watch over them if you are still alive?"
"Yes i will"
"Thanks"
"Your welcome" says the man. Who then walked away.
(???'s POV)
I could feel a pair of eyes on me but decided to ignore it. I looked around a tiny bit. We were all called her for a Hashira meeting, but for what? A new Hashira i think.
I looked up at the sky for a minute or so. Then I heard a noise.
All the Hashira's were lined up. When we heard the noise we all turned to a man who had just appeared, and we all got down on one knee, kneeling.
"Ah its a nice day today isn't it?" The man asks
We all nodded.
"Anyways. Today i was going to tell you we have a knew Hashira. They use shadow breathing"
"Shadow breathing. Is this possibly (Y/M/N)'s child" a woman asks
"Why yes. It is."
"I figured as much since shadow breathing was created by (Y/M/N)'s Father. A breathing only their family has been able to master so far."
